This calculator takes 9 spend categories and rent is not one of them. If you pay rent by card and enter it under "Other Spends", the earnings shown will be too high: 197 of our 280 active cards exclude rent from earning altogether, so on most cards that spend earns nothing at all. A further 7 cards charge 1–2% to accept rent, which this tool does not subtract — and 2 of them both charge that fee and pay a rent reward rate, which is why a rent box on its own would not fix this. Until rent is modelled with its fee, treat the figure as an upper bound if rent is part of your spend.
