ISSUER GUIDE
YES Bank Credit Cards
A compact range known for punchy reward rates on its flagships — Reward Points via YES Rewardz, the Marquee at the top, and a set of mid-tier lifestyle cards beneath it.

YES Bank cards you cannot simply apply for today
Read from each card's own record, so this list moves the day the card does. Existing holders are unaffected unless a line says otherwise.
Invitation only
- YES Private Credit CardThe YES Private is YES Bank’s most exclusive credit card — its ultra-premium metal flagship, extended by invitation to the bank’s top YES Private wealth relationships rather than applied for openly.
- YES Private Prime Credit CardThe YES Private Prime sits just below the YES Private in YES Bank’s wealth stack — an invitation-only premium card offered to YES Private banking clients, not available through a public application.
Withdrawn or closed to new applicants
YES Bank runs one of the most compact credit card ranges among India's private banks — a short line-up, not a sprawling catalogue — and it competes on reward rate, not breadth. The range is topped by the high-earning YES Marquee, with a mid-premium tier beneath it. So the question with YES Bank isn't "which of many" but "will I spend enough on the right card to extract its rate." This is the full YES Bank credit card line-up, how YES Rewardz points convert to rupees, and where these cards stand against ICICI and RBL.
What makes YES Bank different
Rate over range. YES Bank doesn't try to hold a card for every wallet. Its flagship earns 36 reward points per ₹200 online — an effective ~4.5% when points are redeemed for flights and hotels — which is among the strongest published online rates on any Indian super-premium card, paired with a low 1% forex markup. The strategy is a few well-pitched cards that reward concentrated spend, not a long ladder.
Point value depends entirely on how you redeem. This is the fact to internalise before applying. A YES Reward Point is worth about ₹0.25 at its best — redeemed for flights and hotels — but drops to roughly ₹0.15 for the general voucher catalogue after a devaluation. The headline rates only hold if you redeem deliberately.
How the rewards work
- Earning — reward points on spends, with accelerated rates online. The yes marquee credit card earns 36 points per ₹200 (~4.5%) online and 18 per ₹200 (~2.25%) offline; the RESERV earns 24 per ₹200 (~3%) on selected online categories.
- Point value in rupees — if you're searching for a "yes bank reward points to cash calculator," here it is plainly: a YES Reward Point is worth about ₹0.25 redeemed for flights or hotels, and about ₹0.15 for vouchers. Budget ₹0.25 per point at best, less for anything else.
- Redemption — through the YES Rewardz portal for flights, hotels, vouchers, merchandise and statement credit.
- Expiry and caps — points expire after 36 months on the Marquee, and redemption is capped (up to 70% of invoice value, 300,000 points a month).
- No strong transfer ecosystem — partners are thin, especially post-merger (Club Vistara is now defunct). Treat YES Rewardz as a portal-redemption currency, not a miles-transfer engine.
The range
| Tier | Cards | Annual fee | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Super-premium | YES Marquee | ₹4,999 (waived ₹10 lakh) | High online spenders who redeem for flights & hotels |
| Mid-premium | YES Bank RESERV (ex-YES First Exclusive) | ₹2,499 (waived ₹3L) | Low 2% forex + lounges at a modest bar |
| Archived | YES First Preferred, Prosperity Cashback Plus | ₹2,499 / ₹1,499 | Discontinued — detail pages kept for reference |
The range's honesty is its compactness. The yes first exclusive has been rebranded as the RESERV and repositioned down — from a ~₹10,000 zero-forex flagship to a ₹2,499 card with a low but no-longer-zero 2% forex (1.75% until 15 June 2026), 6 international plus 12 domestic lounge visits, and rare insurance and utility earning. The older yes first preferred and the utility-focused yes prosperity cashback (5% on bills via YES PayNow) are being wound down. So the live, forward-looking choice is really the Marquee at the top and the RESERV beneath it.
YES Bank vs ICICI and RBL
| Dimension | YES Bank | ICICI | RBL |
|---|---|---|---|
| Range breadth | Compact, rate-led | Broad catalogue | Broad, co-brand heavy |
| Best online rate | ~4.5% (Marquee, travel redemption) | Strong on premium tier | Moderate |
| Point value | ₹0.25 travel / ₹0.15 vouchers | Up to ₹0.40 (premium RP tier) | ~₹0.25 typical |
| Flagship forex | 1% (Marquee) | Low on premium metal cards | 3.5% on most |
| Transfer partners | Thin post-merger | Broader | Limited |
The read is clear: YES Bank's Marquee competes at the very top on raw online earn rate and forex markup, but the range is shallow and the points only shine when redeemed for travel. If you want a wide catalogue or richer transfer options, an ICICI or RBL card is the more flexible instrument — though neither entry beats the Marquee's headline online rate.
Who YES Bank suits
It's the right fit for a high, concentrated online spender who will redeem deliberately for flights and hotels (the Marquee), or a YES Bank customer wanting a low-forex mid-premium card with lounges and golf at a modest relationship bar (the RESERV). It's a weaker fit for anyone wanting a broad ladder, a simple set-and-forget cashback card, or a rich airline-transfer ecosystem. Our best premium cards guide shows exactly where the Marquee lands against the other super-premium flagships.

The YES Private is YES Bank's flagship — an invite-only metal card pitched at high-net-worth clients, and priced to match: ₹50,000 joining and ₹10,000 renewal (the renewal waived on ₹25 lakh of annual spend; the joining fee is not waivable). Its standouts are a market-low 0.50% foreign markup — among the lowest on any Indian card — and unlimited domestic and international lounge access (via LoungeKey plus the Mastercard programme) with a rare 12 complimentary guest visits a year, and no spend-gate on the international visits. The earn is stronger than most people assume: YES Bank pays 20 Reward Points per ₹200 domestic and 40 per ₹200 international (~2.5% and ~5% valued at ₹0.25/point), alongside a ₹9,000 Oberoi e-gift voucher, 12 golf rounds a year and a 2,00,000-point welcome award credited on joining-fee realization. Point value still depends on how you redeem, so we value it conservatively at ₹0.25 — but the forex, lounges, golf and Oberoi benefit are what make the fee clear.
Why it stands out YES Bank's most exclusive metal card — invite-only, a market-low 0.50% forex, unlimited lounges with 12 free guest visits, a ~2.5%/5% earn and golf, wrapped around a ₹50,000 joining fee
Best suited for For existing YES Bank Private banking clients and high-net-worth frequent travellers who will use unlimited lounges (with guests), spend meaningfully abroad where the 0.50% forex and ~5% international earn compound, stay at Oberoi properties, and play golf. Not for anyone unable to absorb a non-waivable ₹50,000 joining fee.

The YES Private Prime sits one rung below YES Bank's flagship Private card, but keeps most of what makes that card special at half the entry cost: ₹20,000 joining and ₹10,000 renewal (renewal waived on ₹20 lakh of annual spend; the joining fee is not waivable). It shares the market-low 0.50% foreign markup and unlimited domestic and international lounge access, though with 4 complimentary guest visits a year rather than 12. Its reward earn matches the flagship — 20 YES Rewardz per ₹200 domestic and 40 per ₹200 international (~2.5% and ~5% valued at ₹0.25/point) — and it adds an Oberoi e-gift voucher worth ₹9,000 as both a joining and an annual benefit, plus VIP airport meet-and-greet and golf. As an invite-only card it is aimed at high-net-worth clients; judged on its terms it is a more accessible way into YES Bank's Private lounge-and-forex package.
Why it stands out The step below the YES Private — invite-only, a market-low 0.50% forex, unlimited lounges, an Oberoi voucher and the same 2.5%/5% reward earn, at half the joining fee
Best suited for For high-net-worth YES Bank clients who want the Private package — 0.50% forex, unlimited lounges, Oberoi vouchers — without the ₹50,000 flagship fee, and who value the 2.5%/5% reward earn. Best for frequent overseas spenders and hotel-stay travellers who will use the Oberoi benefit.

The YES Bank Marquee is YES Bank's most interesting card — a genuine ~4.5% online earn rate (36 reward points per ₹200, redeemed for travel at ₹0.25/point) and a low 1% forex markup in a polished super-premium package, with a rich welcome bonus (40,000 RP), 36 movie tickets and golf. Joining is ₹9,999 and renewal ₹4,999 (waived at ₹10 lakh). The catches define it: voucher redemption was devalued to ₹0.15 (so redeem for flights/hotels, not vouchers, where it holds ₹0.25), domestic lounge access is spend-gated (₹1 lakh/quarter; international is unlimited and ungated), the transfer partners are thin (Club Vistara is now defunct post-merger, leaving Air India Maharaja as the only partner), points expire after 36 months, and YES Bank keeps revisiting its premium terms. Worth a slot for the online-focused traveller who redeems deliberately; not a card to build a wallet around.
Why it stands out Genuine ~4.5% online earn (flight/hotel redemption) + low 1% forex in a super-premium package
Best suited for For online-focused travellers who will redeem points for flights/hotels (where they hold ₹0.25) and use the lounges, movies and golf. Not for voucher-redeemers (devalued to ₹0.15) or anyone wanting a primary card.

The card that once paired the two things travellers most want — zero forex and unlimited lounges — no longer exists under the YES First Exclusive name. YES Bank rebranded it as the RESERV and repositioned it down: the fee fell from ~₹10,000 to ₹2,499 (joining waived on ₹40,000 in 30 days, annual at ₹3 lakh), forex is now low but no longer zero (2%, raised from 1.75% on 15 June 2026), and lounge access (6 international visits a year plus 3 domestic a quarter) is spend-linked for the domestic visits — a gate introduced in March 2024 and raised to ₹1 lakh a quarter from April 2025. Earning runs on three tiers: 24 YES Rewardz per ₹200 online (~3% at ₹0.25 a point, capped at 36,000 points a cycle, then dropping to the offline rate), 12 per ₹200 on offline and general retail (~1.5%), and 6 per ₹200 (~0.75%) on Select categories — utility, insurance, education, grocery, rent and wallet loads, which it earns on at all, a rarity at this level. Government spends earn nothing since April 2025. What remains is a capable mid-premium card whose online rate is its real draw, best judged on its leaner 2026 terms.
Why it stands out Rebranded as YES Bank RESERV — a ₹2,499 mid-premium card earning 3% online and 1.5% elsewhere, with a low 2% forex
Best suited for For YES Bank customers who put most of their spending online, where the 3% rate does the heavy lifting, and who want a low 2% forex and lounges alongside it. Also unusually good for anyone paying utility, insurance or education bills on a card, since it earns on them at all. No longer the zero-forex, unlimited-lounge flagship it was billed as.

The YES Bank Essence is a mid-tier lifestyle card — marketed by YES as its women's credit card — built around online lifestyle spends: 12 YES Rewardz per ₹200 on online fashion, beauty, dining, travel and grocery, 8 per ₹200 on other online spends and 4 per ₹200 offline, with online earning capped at 9,000 points a statement cycle. YES Rewardz redeem at about ₹0.20 apiece for vouchers, products or statement credit and up to ₹0.25 on flights and hotels via the YES rewardz portal, so the honest everyday return is roughly 1.2% on the accelerated online categories and about 0.4% on offline spends — stronger if you redeem for travel. The ₹799 joining fee is reversed on ₹20,000 of spend in the first month and the ₹799 renewal waives at ₹1 lakh of annual spend. A ₹1,000 voucher on a first transaction within 45 days, 5,000 bonus points on ₹50,000 in 90 days, a further 10,000 points at ₹1 lakh annual spend, birthday-month benefits (a ₹1,000 Myntra voucher and a health check-up), a monthly movie buy-one-get-one on District (up to ₹250 off) and one spend-gated domestic lounge visit a quarter round it out. A tidy card for the online lifestyle shopper who will actually redeem the points; not a card to anchor a wallet around.
Why it stands out A lifestyle rewards card with accelerated online earning on fashion, beauty, dining, travel and grocery, plus a monthly movie buy-one-get-one — all for a modest ₹799 fee
Best suited for For the online lifestyle shopper who spends regularly on fashion, beauty, dining and grocery and will redeem YES Rewardz deliberately — ideally for flights and hotels where they hold more value. YES positions the Essence as a women-focused card (salaried applicants only), with birthday-month benefits to match. Less compelling if most of your spend is offline or in excluded categories like rent, fuel, wallet loads, insurance and education.

The YES Bank Elite+ is a mid-tier rewards card built around online spend: it earns 12 YES Reward Points per ₹200 online (~1.2% at ₹0.20/point, capped at 12,000 points a cycle), 6 per ₹200 offline and a reduced 4 per ₹200 on select categories — utilities and cable/streaming. It adds 2 spend-gated domestic lounge visits a quarter (unlock by spending ₹50,000 in the prior quarter), 3 international lounge visits a year, a 25% BookMyShow discount (capped ₹250/month) and a fuel surcharge waiver. Fees are ₹999 joining and ₹999 renewal: the joining fee is waived if you spend ₹20,000 within the first 30 days, and the renewal fee is waived on ₹2 lakh of annual spend. Points redeem on YES rewardz — best value on flights/hotels, weakest on gift vouchers, and a ₹100 + GST fee applies per redemption request. A solid online-spender's card at the price, provided you hit the early-spend and annual-spend thresholds.
Why it stands out A ₹999 rewards card that doubles points online (12 per ₹200) with domestic and international lounge access — best value if you clear the ₹20k joining-fee-waiver spend early
Best suited for For an online-heavy spender who will clear ₹20,000 in the first month (waiving the joining fee) and ₹2 lakh a year (waiving renewal), and who will use the lounges and movie discount. Less suited to someone with mostly offline or utility spend, where the earn drops, or with spend concentrated in excluded categories like rent, fuel, insurance and education.

The YES Bank Wellness Plus is a niche health-themed card: its value is in wellness services, not raw rewards. It bundles 12 complimentary fitness sessions a month (yoga, Zumba, gym), an annual health check-up (per the Aditya Birla Activ Health list) and unlimited teleconsultations with doctors, specialists and nutritionists. On spend it earns a modest 6 YES Reward Points per ₹200 (~0.6%), stepping up to 30 points per ₹200 (~3%) at pharmacies and chemists, plus 2 spend-gated domestic lounge visits a quarter and a fuel surcharge waiver. The catch is the fee: ₹1,499 joining and ₹1,499 renewal, and per YES Bank's MITC the annual fee is NOT waivable on spend. So this card only makes sense if you will genuinely use the fitness classes, check-ups and consultations — value them at more than ₹1,499 and it pays; treat it as a rewards card and it disappoints.
Why it stands out A health-and-wellness card — 12 fitness sessions a month, an annual health check-up and unlimited doctor consultations — with a 5X reward accelerator at pharmacies
Best suited for For someone who will actually attend the monthly fitness sessions and use the free check-ups and doctor consultations, and who fills a chunk of monthly spend at pharmacies. Not for anyone chasing reward value — the base earn is below average and the fee is not waivable.

The YES Bank Select (the renamed Prosperity Edge) is an entry-level rewards card that punches slightly above its ₹599 fee on lifestyle perks. It earns 8 YES Rewardz per ₹200 on online spends (capped at 5,000 points a statement cycle), 4 per ₹200 offline and 2 per ₹200 on select categories — utilities and cable/streaming. YES Rewardz are worth about ₹0.20 apiece for vouchers, bills and statement credit and up to ₹0.25 for flights and hotels via the YES rewardz portal, so the honest everyday return is roughly 0.8% online and 0.4% offline. What stands out for the fee is the perk spread: one domestic lounge visit a quarter, four complimentary golf green-fee rounds a year with a monthly lesson, and a monthly movie buy-one-get-one (up to ₹150 off). The ₹599 joining fee is reversed on ₹10,000 of spend in the first month and the renewal waives at ₹1 lakh. A sensible first or second card for a YES customer who wants perks without a premium fee — provided you redeem the points deliberately.
Why it stands out An affordable online-rewards card that adds lounge, golf and movie perks unusual at a ₹599 fee
Best suited for For someone wanting an affordable entry card with lounge, golf and movie perks that usually appear only at higher fees — ideally a YES Bank customer who spends online and will redeem YES Rewardz for travel. Less suited to heavy offline spenders or anyone who leaves points sitting as low-value voucher credit.

The YES Bank Ace (the renamed Prosperity Rewards Plus) is an entry-level online-shopping card with the simplest pitch in YES Bank's line-up: 8 YES Rewardz per ₹200 on online spends (capped at 5,000 points a statement cycle), 4 per ₹200 offline and 2 per ₹200 on select categories — utilities and cable/streaming. YES Rewardz redeem at about ₹0.20 apiece for vouchers and products and up to ₹0.25 for flights and hotels via the YES rewardz portal, so the honest everyday return is roughly 0.8% online and 0.4% offline. The ₹499 fee is the lowest in the range and waives at just ₹50,000 of annual spend — an easy bar — with the joining fee reversed on ₹5,000 in the first month. There are no lounge, golf or movie benefits; the extras are a 1% fuel surcharge waiver (capped ₹100 a month), a buy-one-get-one coffee offer at malls and a purchase-protection plan. Our records list the Ace on Visa (YES does not publish the network rail on the product page) and it is not UPI-linked. A clean, cheap points card for the online shopper who wants a low-commitment second card, not a perk-laden lifestyle card.
Why it stands out A low-fee everyday online-shopping card — accelerated points on online spends with the year's lowest ₹50,000 waiver bar
Best suited for For the everyday online shopper who wants a cheap, no-frills points card with an easy fee waiver — especially as a second card for online spends. Skip it if you want lounge access or lifestyle perks, or if most of your spend falls in excluded categories like rent, fuel, wallet loads and UPI.
