Axis Bank Credit Cards

The widest transfer-partner list of any Indian issuer via EDGE Miles, the Magnus/Reserve premium tier, and strong co-brands with Flipkart, Airtel and IndianOil.

Axis Bank cards you cannot simply apply for today

Read from each card's own record, so this list moves the day the card does. Existing holders are unaffected unless a line says otherwise.

Invitation only

  • Axis Bank Burgundy Private Credit CardThe Axis Burgundy Private Credit Card (“The One Card”) is issued only to Axis Burgundy Private banking clients — it cannot be applied for on its own. It is complimentary with the Burgundy Private relationship (otherwise ₹1,00,000 a year since 1 September 2026, up from ₹50,000), and if that relationship ends the card converts to the one matching your downgraded account.
  • Axis Bank Olympus Credit CardThe Axis Olympus cannot be applied for — Axis publishes no product page or application route. It is the card onto which former Citi Prestige holders were migrated, and it is otherwise extended by invitation within Axis Bank’s Burgundy and HNI relationships.
  • Axis Bank Primus Credit CardThe Axis Primus is Axis Bank’s ultra-premium, invitation-only metal card — there is no public application. It is extended to a very small circle of ultra-high-net-worth clients, with a ₹5 lakh joining fee and ₹3 lakh annual fee (cards issued until 31 July 2024 carried a ₹1.8 lakh annual fee).
  • Axis Bank Reserve Credit CardThe Axis Reserve cannot be applied for — it is offered strictly by invitation to customers who meet Axis Bank’s internal relationship and spend criteria.

Axis Bank has become the issuer serious points-and-miles enthusiasts watch most closely — because it runs the widest airline and hotel transfer-partner network of any Indian bank. Where an IDFC FIRST card gives you cashback and vouchers with no way to convert into miles, an Axis EDGE Miles card lets you move rewards into frequent-flyer and hotel programmes, where a well-timed redemption is worth far more than the equivalent voucher. The line-up also grew when Axis absorbed the Citibank India portfolio — it now runs from a ₹0 starter to a ₹50,000 super-premium flagship.

What makes Axis different

Two reward currencies, and knowing which one a card earns matters most. Axis runs rewards on two tracks. EDGE Reward Points are the general-purpose currency, worth roughly ₹0.20 each when redeemed for vouchers and products through the EDGE portal — fine, but not why enthusiasts hold Axis. EDGE Miles, earned on the travel cards, are worth closer to ₹1–₹2 each because they transfer to airline and hotel partners. If travel is your goal, you want a card that earns Miles, not just Points.

Transfer partners no other Indian bank matches. EDGE Miles move to programmes like Air India Maharaja Club and Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer, plus British Airways and others — the exact thing an IDFC card cannot do. The April 2026 devaluation trimmed this — Accor, Marriott and Qatar Airways Privilege Club were removed and several ratios were cut. Qatar had returned to the Axis partner list by August 2026 and Accor by 25 September 2026, both in the weaker 2:1 band rather than the 1:2 the best partners get; Marriott has not come back. Always check the current transfer chart before you commit.

How EDGE Rewards and EDGE Miles work

  • Two currencies — EDGE Reward Points (≈₹0.20 each via the portal) and EDGE Miles (≈₹1–₹2 each via airline transfer). The card you hold decides which you earn.
  • Earning — travel cards pay up to 5 EDGE Miles per ₹100 on travel and 2 per ₹100 elsewhere; cashback cards pay a flat rate straight to your statement.
  • Transfers — EDGE Miles convert to airline and hotel partners at ratios that shift with each devaluation; premium-cabin redemptions hold the outsized value.
  • Redemption floor — anything can also be cashed out for vouchers or statement credit at the ₹0.20-ish rate, so points never strand — the worst use of a Mile.

The Ace was long the standout everyday card — an uncapped 1.5% base plus 5% on Google Pay utility bills and 4% on Swiggy/Zomato/Ola (those two share a ₹500/cycle cap), fee waived at ₹2 lakh spend — but Axis has quietly stopped offering it to new applicants, so it now rewards the holders who already have it rather than the ones looking for their next everyday card. The Flipkart card gives 7.5% on Myntra and 5% on Flipkart/Cleartrip, each capped at ₹4,000/quarter since June 2025. Neo is a lifetime-free offers card with a negligible ~0.1% base, and MyZone bundles a SonyLIV Premium membership on a flat ~0.4% earn — both benefit plays, not reward-rate plays. Horizon, the Citi PremierMiles successor, packs 32 domestic and 8 international lounge visits into a ₹3,000 fee. The famous Atlas — 5 EDGE Miles per ₹100 on travel, 2 elsewhere, at a ₹5,000 fee — is still the range's traveller's pick on paper, with EDGE Miles that transfer 1:2 (against the Horizon's 1:1) and standout lounge access with no spend gate. The catch is that Axis has quietly stopped offering it to new applicants, so unless you already hold one, the Horizon is the live EDGE Miles option below Olympus money.

The read is clear: Axis wins decisively on transfer flexibility — if turning everyday spend into airline miles is the goal, its EDGE Miles network is the richest in India. HDFC counters with unlimited Infinia lounge access and a strong premium tier; SBI is stronger on plain cashback than on transfers.

Who Axis suits

Axis rewards two very different people well: the traveller who'll learn the EDGE Miles transfer chart and extract premium-cabin value, and — if they already hold the now-closed Ace — the simplicity-seeker who just wants flat cashback and nothing to manage. New applicants after that everyday simplicity are the weaker fit, since the Ace is no longer open and the live entry cards (Neo, MyZone) are benefit plays rather than strong earners — that everyday-cashback territory now belongs more to IDFC. Our best travel cards guide shows where the Axis cards land against the rest of the market.

The Axis Burgundy Private Credit Card — marketed as "The One Card" — is issued only to Axis Burgundy Private banking clients (the bank's top private-wealth tier, requiring a total relationship value of around ₹5 crore). It earns 15 EDGE Reward Points per ₹200 across most spends, transferable to Axis's 24 airline and hotel partners at 5:4 — the best ratio Axis gives any card, and the one it kept through both the 2023 and 2026 culls. That works out near ~6% on the best transfer redemptions against ~1.5% if you redeem on the EDGE catalogue. Its standout is the fee economics and the forex: the ₹1,00,000 fee is nil for Burgundy Private clients, and there is zero forex markup plus no cash-withdrawal advance fee — rare on an Indian card, though shared with Axis's other super-premium cards. Cash withdrawals also carry no interest until the payment due date. The wrapper matches the field: unlimited domestic and international lounge access (Priority Pass, primary and add-on, 12 guest visits, 8 meet-and-assist services), up to 50 domestic golf rounds/lessons plus 4 international, a 24x7 concierge, and complimentary Club Marriott, Accor Plus, Taj Epicure and EazyDiner Prime memberships. Note that the 30,000-point welcome and annual benefit this card was once sold on was discontinued on 20 April 2024 — there is no welcome bonus today.

Why it stands out The card for Axis Burgundy Private banking clients — 15 EDGE Reward Points per ₹200, nil forex markup, unlimited worldwide lounges, golf and top hotel memberships, and a ₹1,00,000 fee that is waived for the relationship it is designed around

Best suited for Axis Burgundy Private banking clients who want a single premium card with zero forex, unlimited lounges and rich hotel memberships — for them the fee is waived and the card is effectively free to hold.

The Axis Bank Olympus is the card onto which Axis migrated India's former Citi Prestige holders, and it inherits that card's signature perks. It earns EDGE Miles at a deliberately modest headline rate — 1 EDGE Mile per ₹100 domestic and 2 per ₹100 international — but each EDGE Mile transfers to most airline and hotel partners (Air India, KrisFlyer, Aeroplan, Flying Blue, IHG and others) at a rich 1:4 ratio, up to 7.5 lakh EDGE Miles a year; British Airways Avios, Finnair, IndiGo BluChip, Vietnam Airlines, Qatar Airways Privilege Club, Cathay Pacific and Accor transfer at only 1:2. Marriott was removed as a partner in April 2026; Qatar and Accor were cut in that same round but had returned to the list by August and September 2026 respectively, at the weaker 1:2 rather than the ratio they once had — so the real return arrives on redemption rather than on the statement. The standout benefits are the ones carried over from Prestige: an annual ₹10,000 Taj or ITC hotel voucher (as both welcome and renewal benefit), a third-night-free stay when you book three nights on Hotels.com (twice a year), unlimited domestic and international lounge access for primary and add-on cardholders with 10 guest visits a year on each of the domestic and Priority Pass programmes, a 1.80% forex markup, 24x7 concierge, 8 complimentary golf rounds plus one per ₹50,000 spent, and Taj/EazyDiner dining privileges. A wide exclusion list (rent, fuel, utilities, insurance, education, government, wallet, transport) means only genuine lifestyle and travel spend earns.

Why it stands out The card Citi Prestige holders were migrated onto — a ₹20,000 super-premium travel card with EDGE Miles that transfer 1:4 to most airline and hotel partners, unlimited lounges, an annual ₹10,000 Taj/ITC voucher, a third-night-free hotel benefit and a low 1.80% forex markup

Best suited for Olympus is built for the Axis Burgundy / HNI customer and the migrated Citi Prestige holder — a high spender who travels internationally, stays at Taj and ITC hotels, and will actually use the third-night-free benefit, the ₹10,000 annual hotel voucher and the 1:4 transfers to most partners. If you spend heavily abroad, the 1.80% forex markup and 2-miles-per-₹100 international rate compound quickly.

The Axis Primus is Axis Bank's ultra-premium metal card, launched with Visa on the Visa Infinite Privilege proposition and issued by invitation only to select ultra-high-net-worth Axis customers. Its earn is deliberately simple: 1 EDGE Mile per ₹100 on every transaction — rent, utilities, fuel, insurance, all included with no exclusions — and those EDGE Miles transfer to partner programmes at 1:5, so a well-timed transfer can push the real return toward ~5%. Be aware that Axis publishes the ratio but not the partner set: Primus is absent from the public Travel EDGE transfer table, and its own T&C directs cardholders to ask their PRIMUS Lifestyle Relationship Manager for the list. The wrapper is genuinely elite: unlimited domestic lounges plus Priority Pass, luxury airport transfers and meet-and-greet, a complimentary hotel night at 900+ luxury properties, companion airfare on full-fare First/Business tickets, unlimited golf, and a 24x7 concierge with access to the world's top restaurants. The fee is the catch — ₹5,00,000 joining plus ₹3,00,000 annual (both plus GST) with no spend waiver, so year one costs roughly ₹8 lakh before tax.

Why it stands out Invitation-only Visa Infinite metal card for UHNW clients — a flat 1 EDGE Mile/₹100 on every spend (no exclusions) that transfers 1:5 to airline/hotel partners, wrapped in unlimited lounges, luxury transfers, complimentary hotel nights and a ₹8 lakh year-one fee that only very heavy spenders can rationalise

Best suited for Only for ultra-high-net-worth individuals who are invited, spend several lakh a month across unrestricted categories, and will actually use the concierge, luxury-travel and hotel privileges — for anyone below that, the fee cannot be earned back.

The Axis Reserve is Axis Bank's ₹50,000 super-premium flagship — and contrary to any "ordinary ~1%" framing, it carries the richest base earn in its class: 15 EDGE Reward Points per ₹200 on domestic spends and 30 per ₹200 internationally. Those are worth about 3% and 6% at the ₹0.40 we price a transferred EDGE point at, or half that — ≈1.5% and ≈3% — if you redeem on the EDGE catalogue at ₹0.20. It pairs a low 1.5% forex markup with unlimited domestic and international lounge access (primary and add-on, plus 12 guest visits a year), three hotel memberships and a 24x7 concierge. The ₹50,000 fee technically waives at ₹35 lakh of annual spend — effectively unwaivable for most. The 2023–24 revisions cut the airline-transfer value, not the earn rate, so it remains a strong everyday super-premium earner.

Why it stands out Richest base earn among super-premium cards — 15 EDGE Reward Points per ₹200 domestic, 30 per ₹200 international (≈3% and ≈6% at the ₹0.40 transfer value) — with 1.5% forex and unlimited lounges

Best suited for For very high spenders who want a rich everyday earn plus unlimited lounges and low forex, and won't miss the trimmed airline-transfer value.

The Axis Atlas is India's most popular dedicated travel card. It earns EDGE Miles at 5 per ₹100 on Axis Travel EDGE and on bookings made direct with an airline or hotel — capped at ₹2 lakh of such spend a calendar month — and 2 per ₹100 on everything else, online travel agencies included. The April 2026 devaluation reset the maths, removing Accor and Marriott as transfer partners and adding British Airways, Finnair and Vietnam Airlines at a poorer 2:1. Qatar Airways Privilege Club and Accor were cut in that same April round but had returned to the Axis partner list by August and September 2026 respectively — both in the weak 2:1 band, not the 1:2 the Atlas gets on partners like Air India Maharaja Club. The welcome bonus is 2,500 EDGE Miles (down from 5,000 for cards sourced before April 2024), worth roughly ₹5,000 at 1:2 — about 85% of the ₹5,900 all-in joining fee. Milestones pay 2,500 EDGE Miles at ₹3 lakh of eligible annual spend, a further 2,500 at ₹7.5 lakh and a further 5,000 at ₹15 lakh. The spend tiers are a separate ladder — Silver from day one, Gold at ₹7.5 lakh, Platinum at ₹15 lakh — and the tier sets the anniversary gift credited when the annual fee is paid: none at Silver, 2,500 EDGE Miles at Gold and 5,000 at Platinum.

Why it stands out EDGE Miles travel card (5/₹100 travel, 2/₹100 else) with spend-tier milestones and standout lounge access (no spend-gate, uncapped guest entry) — still strong for high spenders, though lighter after the April 2026 transfer-partner cuts

Best suited for Atlas suits the traveller who books flights and hotels direct — on the airline's or hotel's own website, at the counter, or through Axis Travel EDGE — because that is where the 5 miles per ₹100 lands. Book the same trip through MakeMyTrip, Goibibo or EaseMyTrip and you earn the base 2 per ₹100 instead. If you are ready to transfer miles 1:2 to a partner such as Air India Maharaja Club or Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer, the value doubles. For high spenders it stays a top pick — the no-spend-gate, uncapped-guest lounge access alone can justify the fee against pricier premium cards.

The Samsung Axis Bank Infinite is the premium tier of the Samsung co-brand, doubling the device cashback of the Signature and wrapping it in a genuine travel benefit set. Samsung purchases — physical stores on Pinelabs or Benow Brand EMI terminals, the Samsung eStore and Shop app, and Service Centre payments on PayU Soft POS — earn 10% cashback, capped at ₹5,000 a month and ₹20,000 a year. Note what is no longer on that list: Axis dropped Flipkart on 20 December 2024 and Amazon on 1 January 2026, so buying a Samsung device on either marketplace now earns nothing at all. Away from Samsung it runs on EDGE Reward Points: 5 per ₹100 (about ₹1) on general spends, and 15 per ₹100 (about ₹3) on five partners — BigBasket, Tata 1mg, Urban Company, Myntra and Zomato — with international spends also at 15 per ₹100. The welcome benefit is a large 30,000 EDGE points on three transactions in 30 days, worth roughly ₹6,000. Travel benefits are the real upgrade over the Signature: 8 domestic lounge visits a year (spend-gated at ₹50,000 in the previous three months) and 6 international visits via a complimentary Priority Pass, plus a 1% fuel surcharge waiver. The ₹5,000 fee waives at ₹7 lakh of annual spend.

Why it stands out The premium Samsung co-brand — 10% cashback on Samsung (capped ₹5,000/month, ₹20,000/year), 3 EDGE points-per-₹100-worth on five partners, 30,000 welcome points and full domestic + international lounge access; a ₹5,000 card that pays back hard on a big Samsung year

Best suited for For a Samsung loyalist who buys flagship devices and appliances and spends enough (₹7 lakh a year) to waive the ₹5,000 fee — someone who will fill the ₹20,000 Samsung cashback ceiling and use the lounge access, rather than a light buyer.

The Axis Select is a ₹3,000 premium card built around an accelerated everyday earn: 20 EDGE Reward Points per ₹200 (≈2%) on Axis's retail-shopping list — grocery, department, clothing and accessory stores — up to ₹20,000 a month, then 10 per ₹200 (≈1%), plus BigBasket (₹500 off/month, min ₹2,500) and twice-monthly Swiggy offers. A ₹3 lakh anniversary-year milestone adds 5,000 points (≈₹1,000). The ₹3,000 fee waives at ₹8 lakh of anniversary spend, and a 10,000-point welcome benefit (≈₹2,000) on your first transaction within 30 days covers most of year one. Lounge access runs to 6 international visits a year (up to 12 on ₹3 lakh spend) plus 2 domestic a quarter on ₹50,000 of prior-quarter spend, and there are 6 complimentary golf rounds (6 more at ₹3 lakh). Read the exclusions first: rent, fuel, utilities and telecom, wallet loads, insurance, education, gold and government spends earn nothing and count toward neither the milestone nor the fee waiver.

Why it stands out ≈2% accelerated earn on retail/offline up to ₹20k/month, BigBasket + Swiggy offers, 6 international lounges and 6 golf rounds; ₹3,000 fee waives at ₹8 lakh

Best suited for For mid-to-high spenders who do ₹20,000+ a month on grocery, department-store and apparel retail, value lounge and golf access, and will clear ₹8 lakh a year to waive the fee.

The Axis Magnus is Axis Bank's premium EDGE Reward Points flagship (₹12,500 fee, renewal waived at ₹25 lakh), historically prized for points that transferred to airline and hotel partners at strong ratios. Three separate rounds did the damage: the transfer ratio was cut from 5:4 to 5:2 in September 2023; the annual transfer cap was split into Group A (100,000 points) and Group B (400,000) in April 2024; and in April 2026 Accor and Marriott were dropped as partners and the remaining milestone benefits discontinued. British Airways, Finnair, Vietnam Airlines Lotusmiles and IndiGo BluChip sit a rung worse still at 5:1 — as do Qatar Airways Privilege Club and Accor, both removed in the April 2026 cull and back in Axis's published table by 5 August and 25 September 2026 respectively, and Cathay Pacific, new to the table in September. Real return now sits around 1.2–2%. The separate "Magnus for Burgundy" is now a ₹30,000 product; Burgundy Private retains better ratios. Since 1 July 2026 Axis also issues the Magnus lifetime-free to customers onboarded on a Burgundy Salary account (at least one net salary credit of ₹2 lakh or more required), though that variant carries no welcome benefit.

Why it stands out Premium EDGE Reward Points card — but round after round of cuts, capped by the April 2026 partner cull, has dropped real return to ~1.2–2%

Best suited for This is your card if you book through Axis's own Travel EDGE portal — 5X there is 60 EDGE Reward Points per ₹200 on up to ₹2 lakh of portal spend a month — and if you clear ₹1.5 lakh a month, which is what unlocks the incremental 35/₹200 tier. MakeMyTrip, Goibibo and IRCTC carry no accelerator and earn the plain 12/₹200. Points transfer to Air India, Singapore Airlines and British Airways.

The IndiGo Axis Bank Premium Credit Card is the top tier of the IndiGo × Axis co-brand on the IndiGo BluChip programme. It earns 7 IndiGo BluChips per ₹100 on IndiGo bookings, 3 per ₹100 on grocery and hotels, and 2 per ₹100 on all other eligible spends. The ₹5,000 joining and annual fee comes with a 5,000-BluChip welcome voucher and a 6E Eats voucher, repeated each year as a renewal benefit. Four spend milestones — ₹2 lakh, ₹5 lakh, ₹8 lakh and ₹12 lakh — each add a 5,000-BluChip voucher, so a big spender can pull 20,000 milestone BluChips in a year — though every voucher lapses six months after it is issued. Lounge access is generous for the fee: two complimentary domestic visits per quarter (unlocked by ₹50,000 spend in the prior three months) plus a Priority Pass with two international visits a year, and a BookMyShow buy-one-get-one movie offer up to ₹250 a month. As with the entry card, the currency is the caveat — neither Axis nor IndiGo publishes a redemption rate, and BluChips buy nothing but IndiGo fares at a price that moves with the fare. We value a BluChip at 42 paise, in line with every other IndiGo co-brand we cover, so 7 per ₹100 reads as roughly 2.9% back in flight value on IndiGo spend.

Why it stands out Premium IndiGo co-brand earning 7 IndiGo BluChips per ₹100 on IndiGo spends (3/₹100 grocery & hotels, 2/₹100 else), with a 5,000-BluChip welcome and renewal voucher, four spend milestones, eight quarterly domestic lounge visits plus Priority Pass — strongest for heavy IndiGo flyers who spend ₹8L+ a year

Best suited for This is the card for a frequent IndiGo flyer who spends heavily — ₹8 lakh or more a year — and will actually hit the milestone thresholds and redeem BluChips into IndiGo tickets. The eight annual domestic lounge visits, Priority Pass and a 5,000-BluChip renewal voucher justify the ₹5,000 fee for someone whose travel and everyday spend both flow through this card. It is over-specified for a light flyer.

The Miles & More Axis Bank World Select is the higher tier of India's only Miles & More co-brand, sitting above the World variant. It earns 6 Award Miles per ₹200 (roughly 3% in miles) into Miles & More, the Lufthansa Group and Star Alliance currency, and the miles never expire while the card stays active. The upgrades over the World card are meaningful: a 15,000-mile welcome bonus (versus 5,000), 4,000 renewal miles, complimentary Priority Pass membership with 4 international lounge visits a year, and a heavier domestic lounge allowance (8 visits a quarter, subject to a spend criterion Axis does not publish). It costs ₹10,000 to join and ₹4,500 to renew. As with the World card, rent, fuel, wallet loads, government, insurance, utilities, EMIs, cash advances and gold/jewellery earn no miles — and Axis charges 1% on cumulative fuel spend of ₹50,000 or more in a statement cycle rather than waiving a surcharge. The 3.5% forex markup means it is a card to earn on domestically and redeem in the air.

Why it stands out The upgraded Miles & More co-brand — 6 Award Miles per ₹200 into Lufthansa/Star Alliance, a 15,000-mile welcome, Priority Pass and a stronger lounge allowance for the Star Alliance flyer who spends more

Best suited for The World Select is for the committed Star Alliance flyer who spends enough to justify the ₹10,000 entry and wants the higher 3% earn, the 15,000-mile head start and Priority Pass. If you fly Lufthansa, Swiss or Singapore Airlines regularly and redeem award tickets, this is the stronger of the two Miles & More cards.

The Miles & More Axis Bank World Credit Card is the only card in India that earns directly into Miles & More, the loyalty programme of Lufthansa Group and a Star Alliance currency redeemable across Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian, United, Air Canada, Singapore Airlines and more. You earn 4 Award Miles per ₹200 spent (roughly 2% in miles), the miles post to your Miles & More account and — usefully — never expire while the card stays active. It carries 5,000 welcome Award Miles, 3,000 renewal miles, and 16 domestic plus 2 international lounge visits a year, the domestic ones subject to a spend criterion Axis does not publish. Rent, fuel, wallet loads, government, insurance, utilities, EMIs, cash advances and gold/jewellery earn no miles — and rather than waiving a fuel surcharge Axis charges 1% on cumulative fuel spend of ₹50,000 or more in a statement cycle. The 3.5% forex markup is high for a travel co-brand, so this is a card to earn on in rupees and redeem in the air, not to swipe abroad.

Why it stands out India's only Miles & More co-brand — earns Lufthansa/Star Alliance Award Miles that never expire while the card is active (4 miles per ₹200), with 5,000 welcome miles and a small international lounge allowance

Best suited for This card is for the Star Alliance flyer — particularly anyone loyal to Lufthansa, Swiss or Singapore Airlines — who wants to funnel everyday rupee spend into Miles & More award tickets and values miles that do not expire. It is a collector's feeder card, not an all-rounder.

The SpiceJet Axis Bank Voyage Black is the premium tier of the co-brand pair. It earns up to 28 SpiceClub points per ₹200 on SpiceJet bookings (worth about ₹0.50 each, an effective ~7% value), 12 points per ₹200 on online entertainment, food orders and bill payments, and 6 points per ₹200 on everything else. The welcome benefit is a ₹4,000 SpiceJet voucher plus complimentary SpiceClub Gold membership. Milestones add 4,000 points at ₹2 lakh and 6,000 at ₹4 lakh of annual spend, with 2,000 points on renewal. It carries 8 complimentary domestic lounge visits a year (2 per quarter) and a 1% fuel surcharge waiver; fuel, wallet loads and EMI earn nothing. At a ₹2,000 fee it richly out-earns the base Voyage on SpiceJet spend — but it is still a bet on SpiceJet, an airline whose reliability has been persistently troubled.

Why it stands out The premium SpiceJet co-brand — up to 28 SpiceClub points per ₹200 on SpiceJet bookings (~7% value), a ₹4,000 welcome voucher, SpiceClub Gold and 8 lounge visits — but the same single-airline risk as the base card, at a higher fee

Best suited for A heavy, committed SpiceJet flyer who spends enough on the airline to make the ~7% earn and ₹4,000 welcome voucher pay for the ₹2,000 fee, and who can redeem points on SpiceJet flights promptly. For anyone who is not tied to SpiceJet, a network-neutral premium travel card is the safer choice.

The Axis Flipkart is the go-to card for Flipkart shoppers, but two things the catalog used to say are no longer true: it is not lifetime-free (₹500 fee, waived at ₹3.5 lakh of annual spend excluding rent and wallet loads), and the 5% is no longer unlimited. Since the June 2025 revision it earns 7.5% on Myntra and 5% on Flipkart and Cleartrip, with each of those three merchants carrying its own ₹4,000-per-statement-quarter ceiling — the caps never pool, and any surplus is written off at quarter end. On top sits 4% on Axis's preferred merchants — a list the bank no longer publishes and can change at will, on which only Swiggy food delivery is named in its own T&C — and 1% everywhere else. The complimentary lounge access was withdrawn in the same revision, though the 1% fuel surcharge waiver survives. Still strong for committed Flipkart and Myntra shoppers, just with a ceiling now.

Why it stands out 7.5% on Myntra and 5% on Flipkart/Cleartrip, each merchant capped at ₹4,000 a statement quarter, plus 4% on Axis's preferred merchants and 1% base. ₹500 fee waives at ₹3.5 lakh

Best suited for For regular Flipkart and Myntra shoppers who will use the capped 5%/7.5% earn and clear ₹3.5 lakh a year to waive the fee.

The IndianOil Axis Bank Premium card sits one rung above the standard IndianOil Axis card. On IOCL fuel it earns 6 EDGE Miles per ₹150 (worth roughly ₹1 each on IndianOil fuel redemption) — an effective ~4% value, capped at 600 EDGE Miles a month (about ₹15,000 of fuel). Beyond the pump it adds 2 EDGE Miles per ₹150 on grocery and supermarket spends (up to ₹5,000/month) and 1 EDGE Mile per ₹150 on everything else. What really separates it from the base card is the benefits sheet: up to 8 complimentary domestic lounge visits a year (2 per quarter, spend-gated), a Zomato discount, an unlimited 1% fuel surcharge waiver, and — most importantly — a fee waiver at just ₹30,000 of annual spend against the base card's steep ₹3.5 lakh. Axis publishes that ₹30,000 twice, in the member T&C and in the Schedule of Charges partnership table, and it works out at about ₹2,500 a month — roughly two tanks of fuel. In practice anyone who actually uses the card will never pay the ₹1,000. The welcome benefit is 500 EDGE Miles on your first spend within 30 days.

Why it stands out The premium IndianOil Axis card — same ~4% on IOCL fuel as the base card but with a ₹30,000 fee-waiver bar most holders clear on fuel alone, plus grocery rewards, domestic lounge access and a Zomato discount the base card lacks

Best suited for The IOCL loyalist who fills up regularly and wants the fuel card to actually clear its own fee. At ₹30,000 of annual spend the waiver is not a target you aim at — it is roughly two tanks a month, so the card is effectively free for anyone using it at all, and the domestic lounge access plus grocery rewards make it a more rounded everyday card than the bare-bones base IndianOil Axis.

The Axis Horizon is positioned as the successor to the discontinued Citi PremierMiles — a ₹3,000 travel card with no spend-based fee waiver. It earns 5 EDGE Miles per ₹100 on the Axis Travel EDGE portal and on direct airline bookings — hotels are an Atlas inclusion, not a Horizon one — and 2 per ₹100 on everything else, online travel agencies included. Its real draw is lounge access with no spend conditions: 32 domestic visits a year (8/quarter) plus 8 international (2/quarter) on Axis's own international lounge programme, opened with a USD 1 card transaction rather than through Priority Pass. Welcome is 5,000 EDGE Miles on ₹1,000 spend within 30 days, with a 1,500-mile renewal benefit from the second anniversary onwards. The April 2026 devaluation removed Accor and Marriott as transfer partners and left most of the rest at 1:1 (₹1/mile); British Airways, Finnair, IndiGo BluChip, Vietnam Airlines, Cathay Pacific and two partners cut in April and since restored — Qatar Airways Privilege Club (back by August 2026) and Accor (back by 25 September 2026) — convert at a weaker 2:1. Horizon carries its own transfer ceilings of 1,00,000 EDGE Miles a year to Group A partners and 4,00,000 to Group B, inside a 5,00,000 annual cap.

Why it stands out ₹3,000 travel card with unconditional lounge access (32 domestic + 8 international/year) and 5 EDGE Miles/₹100 on travel — the Citi PremierMiles successor

Best suited for For travellers who want generous, no-spend-gate lounge access and a simple miles earn, and don't mind the lack of a fee waiver.

The Samsung Axis Bank Signature is the entry tier of Axis Bank's Samsung co-brand, built for people who buy Samsung devices and want the purchase to pay something back. Its headline is 10% cashback on Samsung spends — Samsung stores, the Samsung eStore and Shop app and Samsung Service Centres — capped at ₹2,500 a month and ₹10,000 a year. One channel question is genuinely unsettled: this card's own T&C document, which Axis last authored in November 2023, still lists Amazon and Flipkart as qualifying, while the Samsung Infinite's T&C removed Flipkart on 20 December 2024 and Amazon on 1 January 2026. Axis has not restated the position for the Signature, so confirm with the bank before counting on a marketplace purchase. Away from Samsung the card runs on EDGE Reward Points: 5 points per ₹100 (worth about ₹1) on general and international spends, and 10 points per ₹100 on five partners — Zomato, BigBasket, Tata 1mg, Myntra and Urban Company. It adds four domestic lounge visits a year, though only if you spent ₹50,000 in the previous three months, a 15% dining discount up to ₹500 once a month at partner restaurants, and a 1% fuel surcharge waiver. The ₹500 fee waives at ₹2 lakh of annual spend, and the welcome benefit is 2,500 EDGE points on three transactions within 30 days.

Why it stands out 10% cashback on Samsung purchases (capped ₹2,500/month, ₹10,000/year) plus EDGE Reward Points on everyday spend — the entry Samsung co-brand at a ₹500 fee that waives at ₹2 lakh

Best suited for For someone who buys a Samsung phone, tablet or appliance every year or two and will use the card to spread the purchase on EMI while capturing the 10% cashback — used as a device-and-everyday second card rather than a primary rewards card.

The Axis Bank Cashback Credit Card is a ₹1,000 card built for online shoppers. Its accelerated cashback is tiered on your monthly net online spend: 2% on the first ₹5,000, 5% on the slab up to ₹40,000, and 7% above that — with a total online-cashback cap of ₹4,000 a month (roughly ₹57,000 of online spend before you top out). Offline (card-present) spends and travel earn a flat 0.75% with no cap, utility bill payments earn a separate 0.5% bonus capped at ₹100 a statement, and cashback posts automatically as statement credit. There is no airport lounge access, and — unusually — no fuel surcharge waiver, so this is a pure everyday-cashback tool. A 5,000 EDGE Reward Point welcome benefit (≈₹1,000) on your first transaction covers most of the ₹1,180 all-in joining fee, and the ₹1,000 renewal waives at ₹4 lakh of annual spend — though rent and wallet loads do not count towards that bar.

Why it stands out A dedicated online-cashback card — a tiered accelerated rate (up to 5% on most online spends, 7% on the highest tier) with a generous ₹4,000/month cap, plus 0.5% on utility bills, but only 0.75% on offline and no lounge access

Best suited for For online-first spenders who put most of their monthly outlay through e-commerce, food-delivery and OTT and want that credited as plain statement cashback — and who don't need lounge access or a fuel waiver from this card.

The Flipkart Axis Super Elite is a different animal from the base Flipkart Axis card: instead of direct cashback it earns Flipkart SuperCoins — 12 SuperCoins per ₹100 spent on Flipkart for Flipkart Plus members (6 per ₹100 for non-Plus), capped at 300 SuperCoins per transaction for Plus and 150 for non-Plus — both reached at ₹2,500 of Flipkart spend in one order — and 2 SuperCoins per ₹100 on everything else. SuperCoins redeem best as Flipkart gift vouchers at up to 1 SuperCoin = ₹1, but that availability comes and goes, so a realistic value is nearer ₹0.50 a coin. The welcome kit is 500 SuperCoins plus trial memberships (Lenskart Gold, Gaana Plus, YouTube Premium). The ₹500 fee waives at ₹2 lakh of annual spend. There is no airport lounge access, and several categories — EMI, gift cards, fuel, rent and wallet loads — earn nothing.

Why it stands out A SuperCoins-first Flipkart co-brand — 12 SuperCoins per ₹100 on Flipkart for Plus members (6 for non-Plus), capped 300/150 per transaction, 2 per ₹100 elsewhere, plus welcome SuperCoins and Lenskart/Gaana/YouTube trials. No lounge access, and the earn is store credit, not cashback.

Best suited for For committed Flipkart Plus members who shop on Flipkart heavily and will actually redeem SuperCoins for gift vouchers — not for anyone who wants everyday cashback or lounge access.

The Axis Bank Privilege Credit Card is a ₹1,500 mid-tier card earning a flat 10 EDGE Reward Points per ₹200 (a clean 1% in value) on domestic and international spends. Its headline is the milestone: 10,000 EDGE Reward Points (≈₹2,000) on reaching ₹2.5 lakh of annual eligible spend — enough to lift the effective rate meaningfully for someone who gets there. Travel perks run to 2 complimentary domestic airport lounge visits a quarter, gated at ₹50,000 of spend in the previous 3 months, plus Dining Delights discounts and monthly buy-one-get-one movie tickets. A 12,500-point welcome benefit (≈₹2,500), credited once the joining fee is levied and you make your first transaction within 30 days, more than covers the joining fee, and the ₹1,500 renewal waives at ₹5 lakh of annual spend.

Why it stands out A ₹1,500 mid-tier card pairing a flat 1% EDGE earn with a big 10,000-point milestone at ₹2.5 lakh spend and 2 domestic lounge visits a quarter — solid if you clear the spends, thin if you don't

Best suited for For mid spenders who will clear ₹2.5 lakh a year to bank the 10,000-point milestone, use the quarterly lounge quota, and clear ₹5 lakh to waive the fee.

The Axis Bank Rewards Credit Card is a ₹1,000 EDGE Reward Points card that earns a modest base of 2 points per ₹125 (≈0.3% in value) and an accelerated 10X — 20 points per ₹125 (≈3.2%) — at apparel and departmental stores, capped at ₹7,000 of that spend a statement month (1,120 points). A milestone adds 1,500 points (≈₹300) in any statement month you spend ₹30,000 — Axis's own value chart assumes that happens about three times a year, so budget roughly ₹900 rather than a full ₹3,600 — and each anniversary bundles memberships worth up to ₹1,000, paid only if you pay the annual fee. EDGE points are worth roughly ₹0.20 each on the rewards catalogue. A 5,000-point welcome benefit (≈₹1,000) on ₹1,000 of spend in the first month covers most of the ₹1,180 all-in joining fee, and the ₹1,000 renewal waives at ₹2 lakh of annual spend.

Why it stands out A shopping-rewards card whose one real edge is 10X EDGE Reward Points at apparel and departmental stores (capped ~₹7,000/month); the base rate is modest and points are worth about ₹0.20 each

Best suited for For shoppers who spend meaningfully on clothing and department stores each month and will actually fill the 10X cap — for anyone else the modest base rate makes the fee hard to justify.

The Axis Shoppers Stop card is a single-store loyalty card built around the Shoppers Stop First Citizen programme. It earns First Citizen points — 20 per ₹200 on Shoppers Stop Exclusive (private-label) brands, 12 per ₹200 on every other brand bought at Shoppers Stop, and 2 per ₹200 on all other spends. Axis puts the redemption value at ₹0.50 a point in its own value chart, and the points redeem only at Shoppers Stop, HomeStop and the group's beauty counters — so the Exclusive-brand rate is 5% back in store credit, other in-store brands 3%, and everything outside the estate a token 0.5%. The welcome kit is Shoppers Stop vouchers with a ₹2,250 face value — though each is gated behind its own minimum spend, so realising all of it takes roughly ₹19,000 in store — plus First Citizen points worth ₹300 on the first transaction within 30 days and a complimentary Golden Glow membership (extended exchange window, free delivery, birthday offers). There is a 1% fuel surcharge waiver, early access to two end-of-season sales and one festive sale a year, and 15% off up to ₹500 a month on EazyDiner. The ₹500 fee waives at ₹1 lakh of annual spend, but rent and wallet loads do not count towards that bar. Everyday categories such as rent, fuel, utilities, insurance and wallet loads earn nothing.

Why it stands out A Shoppers Stop store card — 20 First Citizen points per ₹200 on Shoppers Stop Exclusive brands (5% at Axis's published ₹0.50/point), 12 per ₹200 on every other brand in store, 2 per ₹200 elsewhere, plus welcome vouchers worth ₹2,250. Points redeem only at Shoppers Stop.

Best suited for For regular Shoppers Stop and HomeStop shoppers — especially First Citizen members — who will spend their points back in store and want the welcome vouchers and Golden Glow perks.

The Axis Airtel is a co-branded card built around Airtel's own ecosystem, but it is not lifetime-free — the ₹500 fee waives at ₹2 lakh of annual spend, with rent and wallet loads not counting towards that bar. Its standout is 25% cashback on Airtel mobile, broadband, WiFi and DTH bills, but only when paid inside the Airtel Thanks app and only on an active Airtel connection. Other utility bills paid in the same app earn 10%; anything paid outside it earns nothing at all. Since the April 2026 revision both accelerated tiers are capped dynamically at 2× and 1× your base 1% cashback for the cycle, replacing the old flat ₹250/month cap — on Axis's own ₹3 lakh illustration that works out to ₹3,800 a year on the 25% tier. The same revision moved the 10% partner earn to Zomato, Blinkit and District Movies (₹200/partner/month, paid into the partner wallet), dropped Swiggy and BigBasket, and withdrew complimentary lounge access. Everything else earns a flat 1% cashback. A useful second card for Airtel users and food-delivery spends rather than an all-rounder.

Why it stands out 25% on Airtel bills in the Thanks app, but capped at 2× the base 1% cashback you earn that cycle — bills-only holders earn nothing; 10% on Zomato/Blinkit/District. ₹500 fee waives at ₹2 lakh

Best suited for For Airtel customers who pay recharges and broadband inside the Thanks app and order on Zomato/Blinkit, used as a focused second card alongside a card carrying enough retail spend to lift the caps.

The SpiceJet Axis Bank Voyage card is the entry tier of Axis and SpiceJet's co-brand pair. It earns SpiceClub points — worth about ₹0.50 each, a rate Axis's own Value Charts confirm — at up to 18 points per ₹200 on SpiceJet bookings (an effective ~4.5% back), 6 points per ₹200 on online food orders, bill payments and entertainment, and 3 points per ₹200 on everything else, general e-commerce included. Axis publishes no fee waiver. The welcome benefit is a ₹1,500 SpiceJet voucher after two transactions in 30 days, plus SpiceClub Silver membership. Milestones add 2,000 points at ₹1 lakh and a further 3,000 at ₹2 lakh of annual spend, and renewal returns 1,000 points. It includes four spend-gated domestic lounge visits a year and a 1% fuel surcharge waiver. Fuel, wallet loads and EMI conversions earn nothing. The elephant in the room is SpiceJet itself: the airline's well-documented financial and operational troubles make a currency locked to its flights a genuine risk to weigh before you commit.

Why it stands out A SpiceJet co-brand earning SpiceClub points — up to 18 per ₹200 on SpiceJet bookings (~4.5% value) — with a low ₹750 fee and a welcome flight voucher, tied to an airline whose reliability is the real risk

Best suited for A frequent SpiceJet flyer who books often enough to burn SpiceClub points on SpiceJet fares before any devaluation, and who values the ₹1,500 welcome voucher against the low ₹750 fee. If you do not fly SpiceJet regularly, a network-neutral travel or rewards card serves you far better.

The Axis ACE is one of India's better flat-rate cashback cards for everyday spenders, but it is not lifetime-free — the ₹499 fee waives at ₹2 lakh of annual spend, and rent and wallet loads do not count towards that bar. It pays 5% on bill payments made through Google Pay (electricity, water, gas, LPG and broadband, plus DTH and mobile recharges) and 4% on Swiggy, Zomato and Ola — the 4% needs no Google Pay, only the 5% tier does — though those accelerated categories share a single ₹500-per-cycle cap, with an uncapped 1.5% on everything else and a 1% fuel surcharge waiver. Four domestic lounge visits a year unlock on ₹50,000 of spend in the prior three months. Since December 2024 Axis also charges 1% on utility spends above ₹25,000 a cycle, which bites on exactly the category this card rewards. A clean, dependable cashback card once you account for the cap.

Why it stands out Uncapped 1.5% base plus 5% on Google Pay utility bills and 4% on Swiggy/Zomato/Ola (shared ₹500/cycle cap); ₹499 fee waives at ₹2 lakh

Best suited for For steady everyday spenders who pay utilities through Google Pay and order food/rides on Swiggy, Zomato and Ola, and will clear ₹2 lakh a year to waive the fee.

The IndianOil Axis Bank card earns 4% value back at IndianOil outlets — 20 EDGE points per ₹100 on fuel between ₹400 and ₹4,000, on up to ₹5,000 of eligible fuel spend a month — plus 5 EDGE points per ₹100 (1%) on online spends and 1 point per ₹100 elsewhere. A 1% fuel surcharge waiver (cap ₹50/cycle) and up to 1,250 welcome points round it out. The ₹500 fee waives only at ₹3.5 lakh of annual spend, which is hard to reach on fuel alone — so don't bank on the card being free. Its EDGE points feed the wider Axis ecosystem rather than being locked to fuel, which is flexible, but HDFC's IndianOil card earns more at the same pumps.

Why it stands out 4% EDGE value on Indian Oil fuel, with points that spend across the wider Axis EDGE catalogue

Best suited for For IOCL fuel loyalists who also hold an Axis Bank account. If HDFC IndianOil is not available, this is the next best IOCL option, with the wider Axis EDGE catalogue as a bonus.

The Axis Neo is a starter card whose value is in merchant offers, not its reward rate — the base earn is just 1 EDGE point per ₹200 (~0.1%). On the fee, Axis contradicts itself: the product page is still titled "Lifetime Free", while the same page's fee table and the Key Fact Sheet updated on 17 July 2026 both publish ₹250 joining and ₹250 annual from the second year, with lifetime-free offered only through select sourcing channels. Confirm the fee on your own application rather than on the headline. What you are actually buying is the offer sheet: ₹120 off Zomato (code AXISNEO, min ₹499, twice a month), 10% off Blinkit (cap ₹250/month, min ₹750), 10% off BookMyShow movies (cap ₹100/month), 5% off utility bills paid through Paytm (min ₹299, up to ₹150 a month), flat 7% off flights and 18% off hotels on Cleartrip (capped ₹2,000 and ₹4,000, once each a month, published as running to 30 November 2027), and 100% cashback up to ₹300 on your first utility bill within 30 days. A fine first card for someone who will actually use those specific offers — but don't expect cashback-card economics from the base rate.

Why it stands out Fixed merchant offers (Zomato, Blinkit, BookMyShow, Paytm utilities, Cleartrip) on a ₹250 starter card — but only ~0.1% base earn

Best suited for For first-time card users who will use the specific Zomato/Blinkit/BookMyShow/Paytm offers, not for anyone wanting a real cashback rate.

The Fibe Axis Bank Credit Card is a lifetime-free RuPay card (issued with the Fibe app, the former EarlySalary) aimed at young, digital, UPI-first spenders. It pays 3% cashback on entertainment, online food delivery and local commute/cabs — under a combined ₹1,500-per-cycle cap — and 1% on everything else. Read the UPI small print before you buy the pitch: Axis excludes credit-card-on-UPI transactions under ₹2,000 and CC-on-UPI to small merchants from cashback entirely, and nothing under ₹100 earns, so the everyday ₹200 QR scan this card is marketed for pays nothing. It is India's first "numberless" card (no number or CVV printed, for security), is RuPay so it links to UPI apps, and adds up to 4 domestic lounge visits a year — spend-gated — plus a 1% fuel surcharge waiver. There is no joining or annual fee. It is currently offered to Fibe app customers only, so availability is gated.

Why it stands out Lifetime-free RuPay/UPI numberless card — 3% cashback on entertainment, online food delivery and local commute (₹1,500/cycle cap), 1% on everything else

Best suited for Young spenders whose statement is food delivery, OTT/entertainment and cab rides, who can get it through the Fibe app. A free secondary card for that basket — not a general UPI earner, because small-ticket CC-on-UPI is excluded, and not a high-spend primary.

The Axis MyZone is an entry ₹500 card whose draw isn't its reward rate — it earns a flat 4 EDGE points per ₹200 (~0.4%) on all spends — but its bundled benefits: a complimentary SonyLIV Premium membership (≈₹1,499) on your first spend within 30 days (since April 2026 the ₹1.5 lakh milestone pays 1,000 EDGE points instead of renewing it), buy-one-get-one movie tickets via District (up to ₹200 off a month, code AXIS200), and a flat ₹120 off Swiggy twice a month on orders of ₹500 or more (code AXIS120). One domestic lounge visit a quarter unlocks on ₹50,000 of prior-3-month spend. Axis publishes no spend-based fee waiver for MyZone, so the ₹500 is payable every year unless you were issued the card lifetime-free. For everyday cashback, Axis ACE out-earns it — MyZone is for the SonyLIV-and-movies user.

Why it stands out Complimentary SonyLIV Premium membership (≈₹1,499) + buy-one-get-one movies, on a flat ~0.4% earn

Best suited for For OTT and movie-goers who want the SonyLIV membership and movie BOGO, not for anyone chasing a strong reward rate.

The Google Pay Flex Axis Bank Credit Card is a co-brand launched in December 2025 between Axis Bank and Google Pay, issued on the RuPay network and linked to UPI so you can pay by scanning any QR code from the Google Pay app. It is lifetime-free, and the welcome reward is a ₹250 gift card plus 250 stars. Rewards come as "stars," each worth ₹1 and redeemable 1:1 against UPI payments in Google Pay. Axis's contractual rate is 1 star per ₹500 spent — 0.2% — doubling to 2 stars per ₹500, or 0.4%, in any cycle following one in which you spent at least ₹100. Since almost every holder clears ₹100, 0.4% is the honest standing rate. The headline 4X and 8X tiers are a different animal: they turn on ₹15,000 and ₹30,000 of spend in the CURRENT reward period, not the previous one, and Axis states plainly that they are offered by Google Pay directly as a promotional campaign that Google may change at will — so they are not contractual and we do not bank them. Stars are capped at 1,500 per reward cycle (the 16th to the 15th), of which Axis funds at most 750. Stars are earned on fuel, unusually for a RuPay card, and expire a year after they are issued.

Why it stands out A lifetime-free RuPay/UPI co-brand with Google Pay (Dec 2025) — earns "stars" worth ₹1 each, redeemable 1:1 on UPI payments in Google Pay, at a contractual 0.2% doubling to 0.4%, hard-capped at 1,500 stars a cycle and managed entirely inside the Google Pay app

Best suited for For a UPI-first, Google Pay-native user who wants a free RuPay credit card that pays a little back on everyday scan-and-pay spends, redeemable straight into more UPI payments — best as a secondary everyday card alongside a stronger primary rewards card.

The Axis Bank Freecharge Plus is the cashback sibling of the base Freecharge card, built with Axis Bank's own Freecharge platform for people who pay recharges and bills through the app. It earns 5% cashback on Freecharge app spends — recharges and bill payments — 2% on local commute, and 1% on all other eligible spends. The commute tier is broader than it looks, covering taxi, bus, suburban-transport and car-rental merchant codes rather than just Ola and Uber. Cashback only applies to transactions of ₹100 or more, and the reward exclusion list is long: fuel, wallet loads, cash, gift cards, gold, EMI, rent, government, insurance, education and any utility paid outside Freecharge all earn nothing. Axis publishes no monthly cap on the 5%, and none on any tier — its own illustration returns an exact 5% on ₹15,000 of Freecharge spend. There is no fuel surcharge refund; the Key Fact Sheet names this card among those where it does not apply. The ₹350 annual fee waives at ₹50,000 of annual spend. Axis describes the card as invite-only through the Freecharge app, and our own checks found no new issuance, so we show it as paused for new applications; existing holders keep the card and its cashback exactly as before.

Why it stands out 5% cashback on Freecharge recharges and bill payments with no published cap, 2% on local commute and 1% everywhere else — a low ₹350 fee that waives at ₹50,000, and invite-only through the Freecharge app

Best suited for For a Freecharge app regular who routes recharges and utility bills through the app and commutes by cab, bus or rented car often — used as a focused bill-pay-and-commute second card, not an all-rounder.

The IndiGo Axis Bank Credit Card is the entry rung of the IndiGo × Axis co-brand launched on the IndiGo BluChip loyalty programme. It earns 3 IndiGo BluChips per ₹100 on IndiGo bookings (flights, 6E add-ons, the app), 2 per ₹100 on grocery and dining, and 1 per ₹100 on everything else. The joining and annual fee is ₹799, more than covered by a 1,200-BluChip welcome voucher and a matching 1,200-BluChip renewal voucher each year — though each voucher lapses six months after it is issued. Two spend milestones — ₹1.5 lakh and ₹3 lakh a year — each add another 1,200 BluChips, and the card carries one complimentary domestic lounge visit per quarter, unlocked by spending ₹50,000 in the previous three months. The catch is the currency itself: neither Axis nor IndiGo publishes a fixed redemption rate, and BluChips buy nothing but IndiGo fares, at a price that moves with the fare. We value a BluChip at 42 paise — the figure our transfer data carries for the currency — so 3 per ₹100 reads as roughly 1.3% back in flight value, and what any single booking returns can land either side of that.

Why it stands out Entry IndiGo co-brand earning IndiGo BluChips (3/₹100 on IndiGo, 2/₹100 grocery & dining, 1/₹100 else) with a ₹799 fee offset by a 1,200-BluChip renewal voucher, spend milestones and one quarterly lounge visit — best for regular IndiGo flyers who redeem straight back into IndiGo fares

Best suited for This card suits someone who flies IndiGo several times a year, books directly on the IndiGo app or website, and is happy redeeming BluChips straight back into IndiGo tickets. If IndiGo is your default airline and you want the co-brand's welcome voucher, milestone BluChips and a quarterly lounge visit for a modest ₹799, it does its job. It is not a card for someone chasing flexible, transferable travel value.

The LIC Axis Bank Signature card is a lifetime-free co-brand between Axis Bank and LIC Cards. It earns 2 reward points per ₹100 on LIC policy premium payments and international spends, and 1 point per ₹100 on everything else — with fuel, utilities and telecom, rent, wallet loads, education, government payments and EMI conversions all excluded. The points are worth far more than the card's reputation suggests: LIC's own rewards catalogue prices a ₹1,000 Amazon voucher at 1,000 points, so a point redeems at close to ₹1 and the card returns roughly 2% on LIC premiums and international spends and roughly 1% on everything else. Two haircuts are worth knowing before you bank on that: points lapse 12 months after they are earned, and every redemption carries a ₹30 + GST handling charge. Alongside that it offers up to 8 domestic lounge visits a year — but only in quarters where you spent ₹50,000 in the previous three months — a 1% fuel surcharge waiver, dining discounts under Axis Dining Delights, and complimentary lost-card liability cover. On a Visa Signature platform, it is a low-commitment card for LIC policyholders.

Why it stands out A lifetime-free co-brand with LIC — 2 reward points per ₹100 on LIC premiums (close to 2%) and up to 8 spend-gated lounge visits, with no fee to earn back

Best suited for LIC policyholders who pay premiums by card — 2 points per ₹100 on a bill you were paying anyway is close to a 2% return, and there is no fee to earn back. It is a sensible keep-forever card, provided you redeem often enough that the 12-month point expiry never catches you.

The Axis Bank Freecharge Credit Card is a low-key entry card built with Axis Bank's own Freecharge platform, aimed at people who live in the Freecharge app for recharges and bill payments. Unlike the newer Freecharge Plus (which pays flat cashback), the base Freecharge card earns EDGE Reward Points — a modest base earn on general spends, topped up by a monthly spend milestone Axis publishes as a table: nothing below ₹2,000 of spend in a month, 100 points from ₹2,000, and 350 points at ₹5,000 and above. Axis publishes no welcome benefit on this card at all, and no fuel surcharge refund — the Key Fact Sheet names it among the cards where the refund does not apply. Nor does the Key Fact Sheet publish a spend-based fee waiver, so treat the ₹250 as payable; Axis's own fee table does reference a waiver calculation but never states a threshold, and we would rather show you that gap than invent a number. Axis describes the card as invite-only through the Freecharge app, and our own checks found no new issuance, so we show it as paused for new applications; existing holders are unaffected. It is best understood as a light digital card for Freecharge regulars, not a rewards workhorse.

Why it stands out An entry-level EDGE Reward Points card built around the Freecharge app for recharges and bill payments, with a monthly spend milestone; a low-fee digital everyday card rather than a high-cashback earner, and invite-only — we show it as paused for new applications

Best suited for For a Freecharge app regular who wants a simple, low-fee card to run recharges and bill payments through, and who values the monthly bonus points more than a headline cashback rate.

Frequently asked questions

Which is the best Axis Bank credit card?
For travellers, the Atlas and the premium Reserve earn transferable EDGE Miles; the Ace is a simple flat-cashback workhorse; the Flipkart and Airtel co-brands reward specific spends. The full list with fees and rewards is below.
What are Axis EDGE Miles and Reward Points?
Axis runs two currencies: EDGE Reward Points (redeemable for vouchers/products) and EDGE Miles on travel cards, which transfer to a large set of airline and hotel partners — the widest transfer network of any Indian issuer, which is why Axis is a favourite among points enthusiasts.
How many credit cards does Axis Bank offer?
Axis has one of the largest active ranges in India, including cards acquired from the Citibank India portfolio. The current cards we track are listed below and the count updates automatically.
Is there a lifetime-free Axis Bank credit card?
Yes — Fibe Axis Bank Credit Card, Google Pay Flex Axis Bank Credit Card and LIC Axis Bank Signature Credit Card are currently offered with no joining or annual fee. Each card's exact terms are in its review below.
What is the minimum income for a Axis Bank credit card?
It varies by card, and Axis Bank publishes a figure for only some of them. Where it does, the card's page quotes it in the bank's terms; where it does not, we show none rather than an estimate of our own. The bank also weighs your credit history and overall profile.
What credit score do I need for a Axis Bank credit card?
Axis Bank publishes no credit-score figure for the cards listed here, so we show none, and a specific number you read elsewhere is somebody's inference rather than the bank's rule. The score is a filter and not the decision: a clean repayment history, a stable income and how long you have held credit all sit alongside it, and a premium card weighs them harder than an entry-level one. Note that "CIBIL score" is a brand name, not the only score: TransUnion CIBIL is one of the credit bureaus operating in India, alongside Experian, Equifax and CRIF High Mark, and issuers differ in which they pull.
How do I apply for a Axis Bank credit card?
Pick a card from the list below to open its review, compare the fees and rewards, then use its Apply link — your application is submitted to and decided by Axis Bank. Applying for the card that actually fits your spending beats applying for the best-known one.

Looking for app-based cards like Kiwi, Jupiter or OneCard? They’re issued across several banks, so we group them separately under Fintech & App-Based Credit Cards.
