CardAdvisor lets signed-in members post honest reviews and ratings to help other Indians choose a credit card. These guidelines keep that space useful and trustworthy. By posting, you agree to them and to our Terms of Use.
What makes a good review
- Write from your own genuine experience with the card.
- Be specific and fair — what works, what doesn't, and for whom.
- Keep it about the card, not other members.
Not allowed
- Links, promo codes, or referral/affiliate content of any kind.
- Spam, duplicate posts, or content posted for payment or incentives.
- Personal data — yours or anyone else's (card numbers, phone, email, addresses).
- Abuse, hate speech, harassment, or threats.
- False, misleading, or defamatory claims, or impersonation of others.
- Anything unlawful or that infringes someone's intellectual-property rights.
How we moderate
Reviews are published immediately and checked afterwards. Posts containing links or prohibited language are blocked automatically. We may hide, edit for policy, or remove any content that breaks these rules, and content that receives multiple reports is hidden automatically pending review. Reviews reflect their authors' views, not CardAdvisor's.
Report a review
Use the Report link on any review to flag it. As an intermediary under India's Information Technology Rules, 2021, we review valid reports and act on them within the timelines the rules require. For anything a report can't resolve, contact our Grievance Officer (details in the Privacy Policy).
Your control over your content
You can edit or delete your own reviews at any time. Deleting your account closes it and hides your comments; your reviews, ratings, and votes are kept, so signing in again brings them back. To have them erased for good, write to our Grievance Officer. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle your data and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
