Kotak Mahindra Bank Credit Cards

A recently rebuilt range — Reward Points across the ladder, the White Reserve metal flagship up top, and everyday co-brands like Myntra, IndianOil and the 811 cards.

Kotak Mahindra Bank cards you cannot simply apply for today

Read from each card's own record, so this list moves the day the card does. Existing holders are unaffected unless a line says otherwise.

Invitation only

  • Kotak Solitaire Credit CardThe Kotak Solitaire is extended by invitation to Kotak Solitaire banking members — there is no open application form. It is complimentary while you remain a Solitaire relationship customer; leaving the programme triggers a ₹25,000 + GST fee.
  • Kotak White Reserve Credit CardKotak publishes no way to apply for the White Reserve. Its eligibility page returns a 404, no income or credit-score criterion appears anywhere on the bank’s site, and Kotak directs interested customers to Customer Care or a relationship manager. The "Apply Now" button that appears on the White Reserve page belongs to the cheaper Kotak White in the related-products strip.

Kotak Mahindra Bank spent the last couple of years quietly tearing its credit card range down and rebuilding it — retiring tired old cards, softening a few with a June 2025 devaluation, and putting a cleaner ladder in their place. What's left is easier to reason about than it used to be: a single Reward Points currency running through most cards, a metal flagship at the top, one genuinely best-in-class airline co-brand, and a secured lifetime-free card to start on. This is the full Kotak Mahindra Bank credit card line-up, how its Reward Points actually convert to rupees, and where these cards beat — and trail — HDFC and SBI.

What makes Kotak different

A recently rebuilt, honest ladder. Kotak refreshed the range almost from scratch — it discontinued the Myntra co-brand in July 2025 and re-cut the Zen Signature and League Platinum. That means an older Kotak card rarely behaves the way it once did, so the honest advice is to read each card's current terms rather than trust legacy write-ups. The upside is a tidier ladder with far less overlap between cards.

One best-in-class specialist. The IndiGo Ka-ching Kotak 6E Rewards XL earns 6% back on IndiGo bookings — the highest airline co-brand rate in India, ahead of even HDFC's own 6E card — plus a flat 2% on everything else and 8 lounge visits a year. If you fly IndiGo regularly, no other card in the country earns you more per fare. (IndiGo moved the currency to BluChips in October 2025.)

How the rewards work

  • Reward Points, valued per card — this is the key answer for anyone reaching for a Kotak reward-points-to-cash calculator: a point is worth ₹0.10 on League Platinum, ₹0.20 on Privy League and the 811, and ₹0.25 on Zen Signature. Redeem below those rates for straight cash. There is no single flat number across the range.
  • Zen Signature earns 10 Zen points per ₹150 on shopping — about 1.67% at ₹0.25 a point — and 5 per ₹150 (~0.83%) elsewhere, with a 2,000-point redemption floor.
  • Privy League Signature gives 5X on dining, travel and international spend (~1% at ₹0.20/point) and 3X on the rest — a relationship card for Kotak Privy League banking clients.
  • White Reserve runs on the milestone-based White Pass currency, an effective ~1.6–2.5% depending on how far up the spend ladder you climb.
  • No airline or hotel point transfers. Kotak points redeem through its own catalogue for vouchers and products; only the IndiGo co-brand converts into an airline currency.

The White Reserve is the one to understand carefully: a real metal flagship at ₹12,500 that assembles unlimited domestic and international lounges, complimentary Club Marriott membership and two golf rounds a month. The fee waives at ₹10 lakh of spend — so it clears its cost only for a high-net-worth Kotak customer who will genuinely hit that number.

The read is clear: Kotak wins at the specialist edges — the unbeatable IndiGo rate and a genuinely lifetime-free secured starter — but its general-spend point value trails an HDFC card redeemed through SmartBuy. For broad rewards or a deep transfer ecosystem, HDFC or SBI is the stronger instrument.

Who Kotak suits

Kotak works best for people who can match a card to a clear pattern — the IndiGo flyer who'll ride the 6% Ka-ching, the Kotak Private Banking or Privy League client whose relationship unlocks the top cards, or the domestic traveller who'll clear Zen Signature's ₹75,000-a-quarter lounge gate. It's a weaker fit if you want one high-flat-rate everyday card or airline transfers. Our lifetime-free cards guide shows where the 811 lands for a first-timer.

The Kotak Solitaire earns 10 Air Miles per ₹100 on Kotak Unbox flights and hotels and 3 per ₹100 on other retail spends, each mile worth ₹1 on Unbox travel. It is not a card you apply for — it is extended by invitation to Kotak Solitaire banking members, who qualify on a family relationship value of ₹75 lakh or more (or a ₹5 lakh/month net salary credit). For that select set it is a genuinely strong travel card. The accelerated Unbox earn is capped at 1,00,000 Air Miles per statement cycle, and miles redeem at ₹0.50 each as vouchers. It carries zero forex markup, unlimited domestic and international lounge access for primary and add-on cardholders, a concierge, and no joining or annual fee while you remain a Solitaire member. The catch is the downgrade clause — leave the Solitaire program and a ₹25,000 + GST fee applies — and a broad exclusions list (rent, wallet, fuel, utilities, insurance, education, EMI and international spends earn nothing).

Why it stands out Invite-only HNW travel card — zero forex, unlimited domestic + international lounges, and Air Miles worth a real ₹1 each on travel (10/₹100 on Kotak Unbox bookings)

Best suited for Existing Kotak Solitaire relationship customers who spend meaningfully on flights and hotels through Kotak Unbox and travel internationally often enough to value zero forex and unlimited lounges. It is not a card the open market can chase — the invite gate and the ₹75 lakh relationship requirement define who it is for.

A correction first — the live Kotak White Reserve is a ₹12,500 metal super-premium card, not the ₹3,000 mid-tier our catalog previously showed. It is Kotak's genuine flagship, built on a milestone-based "White Pass" reward currency (up to ~1:1, an effective ~1.6–2.5%) with unlimited domestic and international lounge access (1,000+ lounges), Club Marriott membership and two complimentary golf rounds a month, at a 2% forex markup. The ₹12,500 fee waives at ₹10 lakh of spend. For a high-net-worth Kotak customer who will clear that ₹10 lakh, the bundle clears the fee; for everyone else, the HDFC Diners Black runs deeper.

Why it stands out Kotak's real metal flagship — White Pass rewards, unlimited lounges, Club Marriott, 2 golf rounds/month

Best suited for For high-net-worth Kotak customers who will clear ₹10 lakh of annual spend and value Club Marriott, unlimited lounges and frequent golf. Others should compare the HDFC Diners Black.

IndiGo XL is the premium tier of the Kotak x IndiGo co-brand — a step above the base IndiGo Kotak card. After IndiGo moved its reward currency to BluChips (we value a BluChip at about 42 paise against IndiGo fares), Kotak headlines "up to 21 BluChips per ₹100" on IndiGo app/website bookings. IndiGo publishes the split, and it is the thing to read: 5 come from the card, 12 from booking through IndiGo's own channels and 4 from Blu 1 tier status. Only the 5 is the card — the other 16 accrue to any BluChip member booking direct with any card at all, and Blu 1 is the top of three tiers, so a new member on Blu 3 sees 17. Off IndiGo it is ordinary: 3 BluChips per ₹100 on dining and entertainment, 2 per ₹100 on everything else. The ₹3,000 fee buys 8 domestic lounge visits a year (2 a quarter), a 4,000-BluChip welcome voucher with a 6E Eats voucher, a matching 4,000-BluChip renewal voucher, and milestone vouchers worth up to 16,000 BluChips across ₹1.5L / ₹4L / ₹7.5L / ₹12L of annual spend. The value is concentrated in IndiGo flying; a light IndiGo flyer will not fill the fee.

Why it stands out The premium IndiGo co-brand — 5 BluChips per ₹100 from the card on IndiGo bookings inside Kotak's "up to 21" headline, 8 domestic lounges and up to 16,000 milestone BluChips, for the flyer who books IndiGo often enough to fill a ₹3,000 fee

Best suited for The frequent IndiGo flyer who books direct on the IndiGo app/website, will actually use the 8 domestic lounge visits and the welcome/renewal vouchers, and spends enough to reach the milestone tiers. If you fly IndiGo only occasionally, the base IndiGo Kotak card (lower fee) or a flat-cashback card serves you better.

The Kotak Zen Signature offers domestic lounge access at a ₹1,500 fee, waived at a clearable ₹1.5 lakh of spend — decent value for a Kotak account holder who travels domestically. Kotak now markets it simply as the Kotak Zen Credit Card; the Zen Signature name survives in the card page URL, the eligibility page and the MITC, so both names describe the same product. It earns 10 Zen points per ₹150 on shopping and 5 per ₹150 on other eligible spends. What those are worth depends on how you redeem. A Zen point is ₹0.25 against Kotak's catalogue (mobile recharge, shopping, vouchers) but only ₹0.20 in cash, so the shopping rate is 1.67% or 1.33% and the base is 0.83% or 0.67%. Milestones pay 7,500 points at ₹3 lakh OR 15,000 at ₹6 lakh — one, not both. A 1,500-point welcome gift is credited once the ₹1,500 joining fee is actually realised, so a fee-free issue does not get it. The June 2025 revision cut into all of it. The cash value fell from ₹0.25 to ₹0.20 with a 2,000-point minimum, lounges became spend-gated at ₹75,000 a quarter, wallet loads, fuel, rent, online gaming and EMI conversions stopped earning entirely, and utility, education, insurance and government spends earn only up to per-cycle limits. All earning also stops at 6,500 points a billing cycle, which shopping alone reaches at ₹97,500. Two surcharge waivers survive the revision and are worth knowing about — 1% on fuel transactions of ₹500 to ₹5,000, capped at ₹3,500 an anniversary year, and a railway surcharge waiver of 1.8% online or 2.5% at the counter, capped at ₹500 a year. Since fuel itself earns no Zen points, the waiver is the only fuel benefit on the card. Judge it on the perks you will use, not the points.

Why it stands out Spend-gated domestic lounge access and a 1.67% catalogue shopping rate (1.33% as cash) at a ₹1,500 fee that waives at ₹1.5 lakh

Best suited for For Kotak account holders who travel domestically and will clear ₹75,000 a quarter to keep the lounge access live, and who will redeem against the catalogue rather than cash. Less compelling for occasional spenders after the 2025 lounge gating, and a poor fit if much of your spending is fuel or rent, which earn nothing.

The Kotak White is the mainstream member of the White family, sitting well below the ₹12,500 metal White Reserve. For a ₹3,000 fee it runs on the same "White Pass" reward idea: a milestone currency you unlock as annual spend climbs — roughly ₹2,000 of value at ₹2 lakh, scaling to ₹27,000 at ₹12 lakh of spend, with 1 White Pass = ₹1 on the catalogue (or ₹0.70 as cashback). It adds a Priority Pass membership with 4 complimentary international lounge visits a year and 2 domestic visits a quarter — though since 1 April 2026 each quarter's domestic visits have to be earned by spending ₹1,00,000 in the quarter before, so a moderate spender can end up with none. Kotak's product page and its own lounge terms disagree on whether Priority Pass is still issued, so confirm that before you count on it. There is also a ₹1,500 welcome voucher on ₹30,000 of spend in 60 days, and a 1% fuel-surcharge waiver. The fee waives at ₹5 lakh. Because the rewards are milestone-gated rather than flat per-rupee, the effective rate only reaches ~2.25% at the top ₹12 lakh tier and is closer to ~1% for moderate spenders — so it rewards people who will genuinely clear the higher milestones.

Why it stands out The mainstream White — a milestone "White Pass" card (up to ₹27,000/year) with Priority Pass lounge access, positioned below the ₹12,500 metal White Reserve

Best suited for For a Kotak customer who spends ₹5 lakh or more a year and will climb the White Pass milestones, values Priority Pass lounge access, and wants a premium card a rung below the ₹12,500 White Reserve. Below ₹5 lakh of spend, the milestone rewards thin out and a flat-cashback card returns more.

The Kotak Air+ Prime is the flagship of Kotak's Air travel family and, refreshingly, its currency has real value: 1 Air Mile = ₹1 when redeemed for flights or hotels on Kotak's Unbox portal. It earns 5 Air Miles per ₹100 on flights and hotels booked through Unbox (capped at 15,000 miles a statement cycle) and 2 Air Miles per ₹100 everywhere else — an effective ~2% base, which is strong for a mid-fee card. That base rate is otherwise uncapped, with one exception Kotak names — insurance under MCC 6300 earns only on the first ₹25,000 a statement cycle, and other insurance codes earn nothing. You get 3,000 welcome Air Miles and 3,000 more on each renewal (₹3,000 each at ₹1/mile, so the miles cover about 85% of the ₹3,540 all-in fee), a low 2% forex markup, 4 domestic and 2 international complimentary lounge visits a year, and a 1% fuel-surcharge waiver. Auto-dealer merchants earn an accelerated 5 miles per ₹100 as well, capped at 1,500 a cycle. The important exclusion: no Air Miles accrue on international transactions at all, so the 2% forex saves you the markup but earns you nothing. Rent, fuel, utility, insurance, education, government, wallet loads, EMI conversions, online gaming and cash advances are likewise out. On fees, only the annual fee is waivable — Kotak states no waiver at all on the joining fee, and rent, wallet, utility, telecom, education and transportation spends do not count toward the ₹4 lakh waiver target. Miles transfer to airline and hotel partners from 1,000 miles, with no annual cap on how many you move — the entry Kotak Air caps transfers at 1,00,000 a year. Cheaper Air and Air+ siblings exist with lower earn and fewer perks; Prime is the top of the ladder.

Why it stands out Kotak's flagship travel card — Air Miles worth a genuine ₹1 each (2/₹100 base, 5/₹100 on Unbox travel), 3,000 welcome + 3,000 renewal miles, 2% forex and lounge access

Best suited for For a moderate traveller who books flights and hotels through Kotak Unbox and wants a mile that is actually worth ₹1, not a token point. The 2% base rate makes it usable as an everyday card too. On international trips the 2% forex and the lounge visits help, but understand that the spending itself earns nothing — Kotak excludes international transactions from Air Miles entirely.

The Kotak Cashback+ Prime is the flagship of Kotak's Cashback+ family and, unusually for a Kotak card, its rewards are honest cashback (1 point = ₹1) rather than reward points — worth noting because Kotak's thinnest currencies, on the League, Urbane and UPI RuPay cards, are revised in the MITC to about ₹0.07 a point, even though most other Kotak cards sit nearer ₹0.20. It earns 5% on online grocery, food delivery and entertainment plus auto-dealer spends, 3% on fuel, and an unlimited 0.5% on everything else. The catch is the cap: one 750-point (₹750) per-billing-cycle ceiling covers every accelerated category together, fuel included, so the high rates only apply to about ₹15,000 of accelerated spend a month — and once that ceiling is hit those categories earn nothing at all for the rest of the cycle, not even the 0.5% base. The joining and annual fee is ₹750, waived at ₹2 lakh of annual spend, though rent, wallet, utility, education and transportation spends do not count toward that target. There is no lounge access and forex is the standard 3.5%, so this is a home-spending cashback card, not a travel one. A base Cashback+ card also exists at the same ₹750 fee and the same 750-point cap — the difference is the categories, not the price: the base pays 5% on online movie tickets and OTT subscriptions where Prime pays 5% on entertainment and auto dealers.

Why it stands out Flat-cashback flagship of the Cashback+ family — 5% on online food/grocery/entertainment (capped), 3% on fuel, 0.5% on everything else, with real ₹1-a-point cashback rather than Kotak reward points

Best suited for For someone who spends steadily on online groceries, food delivery and fuel and wants simple ₹-back rather than points to decode. If your accelerated spend stays near the ₹15,000/month cap, the 5% is real money; past the cap those categories stop earning altogether rather than dropping to the 0.5% base, so heavy spenders should model the cap first.

Once a quietly smart low-fee pick for the urban movie-and-dining crowd, the Kotak League Platinum was knocked down a peg by a June 2025 devaluation (redemption minimums and category caps). Reward points are now worth up to ₹0.10 (less on cash), giving an effective rate of about 0.5% at best — 4 points per ₹150 base, 8 per ₹150 above ₹2 lakh of annual spend. The movie benefit is milestone-based (4 PVR tickets or 10,000 reward points per ₹1.25 lakh of spend every six months), not a monthly perk, and there is no lounge access. The ₹499 fee waives at ₹50,000. Hold it only if you will clear the milestone; otherwise a flat-cashback card serves you better.

Why it stands out Milestone PVR tickets for the dinner-and-a-movie crowd — if you clear the spend bar

Best suited for For Kotak customers who will reliably hit the ₹1.25 lakh/half-year milestone to claim the PVR tickets. If you will not clear it, a flat-cashback card returns more for less effort.

The Kotak Air is the entry card in Kotak's Air travel range, sitting below the Air+ and Air+ Prime. Its currency is the Air Mile, worth a real ₹1 each when redeemed for flights or hotels on Kotak's Unbox portal (₹0.50 for instant vouchers). You earn 3 Air Miles per ₹100 on flights and hotels booked through Unbox — capped at 5,000 miles a statement cycle — and 1 Air Mile per ₹100 (≈1% at ₹1/mile) on everything else. The welcome benefit is 1,000 bonus Air Miles within 120 days, and another 1,000 on each renewal, so the miles cover about 85% of the ₹1,179 all-in fee if you use them for travel. Two fee points are worth knowing, because Kotak states them inconsistently. Its retail MITC and the card's Key Fact Statement both waive the ₹999 renewal at ₹2.5 lakh of retail spend in an anniversary year (rent, wallet, utility, education and transportation do not count toward that) — while the product page's own fee table says no waiver exists. And Kotak is currently advertising the card with no joining fee at all, on the product-page banner and its card listing, against the ₹999 the fee table still prints. Perks include up to 4 complimentary domestic lounge visits a year (gated on ₹60,000 of spend in the previous quarter, max 2 per quarter) and a 1% fuel-surcharge waiver. Fuel, rent, wallet loads, utility and telecom bills, insurance, education, government and tax payments, EMI conversions, online gaming, cash advances and fund transfers earn no Air Miles at all, and the Key Fact Statement adds a 1% transaction fee on rent, on wallet loads above ₹10,000 a cycle, on fuel above ₹35,000, on online gaming above ₹10,000, on utility payments above ₹50,000 and on education paid through third-party apps. Miles expire in 3 years and 500 are needed to redeem.

Why it stands out The entry rung of Kotak's Air travel family — Air Miles worth a genuine ₹1 each on Unbox travel (1/₹100 base, 3/₹100 on Unbox flights & hotels), 1,000 welcome + 1,000 renewal miles, and up to 4 domestic lounge visits a year, gated on ₹60,000 of spend in the previous quarter.

Best suited for For an occasional traveller who books flights or hotels through Kotak Unbox and wants a low-fee card whose miles are actually worth ₹1 rather than a token point. The 1% everyday base keeps it usable off travel, and the spend-gated lounge visits suit a few trips a year.

The IndiGo Kotak Credit Card is the base tier of Kotak's IndiGo co-brand, sitting below the ₹3,000 IndiGo XL. It earns up to 19 IndiGo BluChips per ₹100 on IndiGo flight bookings, an unlimited 2 per ₹100 on dining and entertainment, and 1 per ₹100 on everything else — with 1 BluChip worth roughly 42 paise against an IndiGo fare — IndiGo publishes no fixed rate. Read the headline carefully, though. As on the XL, most of that 19 is not the card: only a few BluChips per ₹100 come from the card itself, while the rest accrue to any BluChip member booking through IndiGo's own channels, plus a top-tier status bonus. The ₹1,500 fee buys a 2,500-BluChip welcome voucher and a matching 2,500 on each renewal, and milestone vouchers of 2,500 BluChips each at ₹1.25 lakh, ₹2.5 lakh and ₹6 lakh of annual spend — up to 7,500 a year. What it does not buy is lounge access: Kotak publishes none on this card, which is the clearest line between it and the XL. There is also no spend-based fee waiver, so the vouchers are the only thing that offsets the fee.

Why it stands out The entry rung of the Kotak x IndiGo co-brand — up to 19 BluChips per ₹100 on IndiGo bookings and 2,500-BluChip welcome and renewal vouchers, at half the XL's fee but with no lounge access

Best suited for The occasional-to-regular IndiGo flyer who books on the IndiGo app or website and wants the co-brand earn without paying ₹3,000 for lounge access they would not use. If you do want the lounges, or will clear the higher milestone tiers, the IndiGo XL is the better buy.

The Kotak 811 #DreamDifferent is an FD-secured starter — back it with a fixed deposit, skip the income proof, and start building a CIBIL score while the deposit keeps earning interest. The credit limit runs up to 90% of the amount Kotak marks a lien on. There is no annual fee ever, but a ₹250 + GST joining fee applies if the deposit is under ₹20,000 — so the smallest deposits are not the cheapest way in. Its product is not the rewards (2 reward points per ₹100 online and 1 per ₹100 offline — Kotak publishes no redemption value for this card, so the ~0.4% and ~0.2% figures used here rest on our own ₹0.20-a-point estimate) — it is credit access. Kotak advertises milestone benefits worth up to ₹1,000, though it does not publish the spend that qualifies, and has run a welcome offer of three months of OTTPlay for ₹1 plus a ₹250 Woohoo voucher — the last terms Kotak published for that offer ran to 31 December 2025 and required an 811 savings account, so check whether it is still live before applying. There is also a 1% fuel surcharge waiver. Fuel and railway spends earn no reward points. For a credit-invisible first-timer who can fund a small FD, it is an easy, low-risk way into the formal system. (A separate unsecured Kotak 811 with a ₹500 fee exists for those who qualify without an FD.)

Why it stands out FD-secured first card with no annual fee — no income proof, deposit keeps earning interest

Best suited for For first-timers with no credit history or income proof who can park a fixed deposit — ideally ₹20,000 or more, which also waives the joining fee. The FD becomes your limit and keeps earning interest.

The Kotak UPI RuPay is a lifetime-free, virtual-only credit card built for paying by UPI — link it to Google Pay, PhonePe or Paytm and scan-and-pay from a credit line. Before anything else, know who it is for: Kotak issues it only to customers who already hold a Kotak credit card, so it is a companion to an existing card rather than a way in. It earns 3 reward points per ₹100 on eligible spends, and because it is on the RuPay rail it works at any UPI QR code. The honest caveat is Kotak's point value: 1,000 points redeem for ₹100 (about ₹0.10 a point on the catalogue, and only ₹0.07 for cash since the June 2025 revision), so 3 points per ₹100 is an effective ~0.3% at best, ~0.21% as cash. A long exclusion list — rent, fuel, railway, wallet loads, EMI, education, insurance, government, gaming, balance transfers and utility spends above ₹35,000 a cycle — earns nothing. Nor is it free of charges: Kotak levies 1% on rent from the first rupee, and 1% on wallet loads and gaming above ₹10,000 a cycle, fuel above ₹25,000 and utilities above ₹35,000, plus a ₹500 over-limit charge and 3.5% on foreign currency. There is no add-on card and no cash withdrawal at all. No card is couriered; the details auto-register in the Kotak mobile app. One linking caveat worth checking first — Kotak says customers holding multiple CRNs cannot link their Kotak RuPay credit card on any UPI app for now, and for the first 24 hours after linking, spending is capped at ₹5,000 a day. It is a convenience card for UPI credit, not a rewards engine.

Why it stands out Lifetime-free, virtual-only RuPay card built for UPI — 3 reward points per ₹100 on scan-and-pay, offered only to customers who already hold a Kotak credit card

Best suited for For an existing Kotak credit-card holder who wants a free credit line on UPI for everyday scan-and-pay and does not care much about reward value. You cannot take it as a standalone first card. A sensible free addition to a wallet for UPI convenience — not a card to route big spends through, given the weak points and long exclusion list.

The IndianOil Kotak is a low-fee fuel co-brand built around IndianOil pumps. It earns 24 reward points per ₹150 (4%) on IndianOil fuel, capped at 1,200 points a statement, plus a 1% fuel-surcharge waiver up to ₹100 a statement — so up to 5% value back at IndianOil. Off the forecourt it earns 12 points per ₹150 (2%) on grocery and dining (one shared 800-point statement cap across both, select MCCs only) and 3 points per ₹150 (~0.5%) on everything else including UPI spends, since it is a RuPay card. Kotak states that all UPI transactions accrue 0.5% across spend categories, so paying at the pump through UPI earns the base rate rather than 4% and does not attract the surcharge waiver. Reward points on this card are worth about ₹0.25 each via the Kotak rewards portal (less, ~₹0.20, as cash), so the 4% headline depends on portal redemption. The ₹449 fee waives at ₹50,000 of annual retail spend.

Why it stands out Up to 5% value back at IndianOil pumps — 4% as reward points plus a 1% fuel-surcharge waiver — on a low-fee RuPay card that also earns on UPI

Best suited for The IndianOil-loyal driver who fuels up regularly at IndianOil pumps and wants a cheap card that turns that spend into ~4–5% back, with a bit extra on grocery, dining and UPI. If you fuel at BPCL, HPCL or Shell, a bank-agnostic fuel card fits better.

The PVR INOX Kotak is a single-purpose entertainment card for people who watch a lot of movies. Its centrepiece is a milestone benefit — one PVR INOX movie ticket (an "M Coupon" worth up to ₹300) per ₹10,000 band of spend in a monthly billing cycle, with no cap on the number of tickets. Kotak's slab table starts above ₹10,000, so exactly ₹10,000 earns nothing, ₹10,001–₹20,000 earns one ticket and a ₹50,000 monthly spender earns four; the fifth begins at ₹50,001. The coupon covers the ticket price only — booking and convenience fees, and any applicable taxes, are still payable by the cardholder. On top, it gives a flat 5% off movie tickets, 20% off food and beverages at PVR INOX, and complimentary access to in-cinema lounges. What it does NOT give is base reward points — Kotak publishes no earn rate for this card anywhere, so it is a benefits card, not a rewards card. There is no joining fee; the ₹499 annual fee applies at renewal with no spend waiver. Spends on rent, wallet loads and online gaming do not count toward the ticket milestone.

Why it stands out A free movie ticket each time your monthly spend passes another ₹10,000, uncapped — plus 5% off tickets and 20% off food at PVR INOX — for the regular cinema-goer

Best suited for The regular PVR INOX cinema-goer who will run more than ₹10,000 a month through the card to collect free tickets and use the F&B and ticket discounts. If you watch films rarely, or want a card that also earns on everyday spends, almost any flat-rewards card returns more.

Frequently asked questions

Which is the best Kotak credit card?
The White Reserve is the metal flagship for high spenders; the League and Privy tier cards sit in the mid-premium bracket; the co-brands (Myntra, IndianOil) reward specific spends. The full current list with fees is below.
How do Kotak reward points work?
Most Kotak cards earn Reward Points on spends, with accelerated rates on chosen categories, redeemable for vouchers and products through the Kotak rewards catalogue. Kotak refreshed much of its range recently, so check each card’s current earn structure in its review below.
Is there a lifetime-free Kotak Mahindra Bank credit card?
Yes — Kotak Solitaire Credit Card, Kotak 811 #DreamDifferent Credit Card and Kotak UPI RuPay Credit Card are currently offered with no joining or annual fee. Each card's exact terms are in its review below.
What is the minimum income for a Kotak Mahindra Bank credit card?
It varies by card, and Kotak Mahindra Bank publishes a figure for only some of them. Where it does, the card's page quotes it in the bank's terms; where it does not, we show none rather than an estimate of our own. The bank also weighs your credit history and overall profile.
What credit score do I need for a Kotak Mahindra Bank credit card?
Kotak Mahindra Bank states a credit-score position for only some of its cards, and we quote each in its publisher's terms: Kotak Mahindra Bank sets no minimum credit score for the Kotak 811 #DreamDifferent Credit Card. For every other card we show none — a specific number you read elsewhere is somebody's inference rather than the bank's rule. The score is a filter and not the decision: a clean repayment history, a stable income and how long you have held credit all sit alongside it, and a premium card weighs them harder than an entry-level one. Note that "CIBIL score" is a brand name, not the only score: TransUnion CIBIL is one of the credit bureaus operating in India, alongside Experian, Equifax and CRIF High Mark, and issuers differ in which they pull.
How do I apply for a Kotak Mahindra Bank credit card?
Pick a card from the list below to open its review, compare the fees and rewards, then use its Apply link — your application is submitted to and decided by Kotak Mahindra Bank. Applying for the card that actually fits your spending beats applying for the best-known one.
