Giveaway Terms

These terms govern the CardAdvisor monthly t-shirt giveaway (the "Giveaway"), operated by Devchandra Sah, operating as CardAdvisor ("CardAdvisor", "we"). By entering you agree to these terms.

1. No purchase or application necessary

Entry is free. You do not need to buy anything, apply for any credit card, click any link, or use any CardAdvisor feature to enter or to win. The Giveaway is entirely separate from the credit card recommendations and any "apply" links on this site: entering does not affect the recommendations you receive, and applying (or not applying) for any card has no effect on your odds of winning.

2. How to enter

  • Submit your email address on the /giveaway page during a calendar month in India Standard Time (the "round"), and confirm it from the email we send you.
  • Give your name with your entry. If you win, it is shown on our winners page (section 5).
  • One entry per person per round. Re-submitting in the same round updates your name and tee text.
  • You may optionally suggest the text you would like printed on your tee (up to 40 characters).

3. Sharing (from the November 2026 round)

  • One post is required. Publish a post on your own X, Facebook or Instagram feed that includes a link to cardadvisor.in (our homepage or any other page of ours), and, once you have confirmed your email, send us the post's link or a screenshot of it from the /giveaway page during the round. Nobody else needs to click or open anything.
  • Every post we approve adds one chance. Each post must be a separate post; the same post sent twice counts once.
  • We check every post by hand before the draw. We approve a post that is on your own account, includes a link to cardadvisor.in and is still there when we check it. We may decline a post that is not yours, has been deleted, repeats another of your posts, or looks automated.
  • Start each post with "#ad", so that readers know you are sharing it as part of a prize draw. You choose the rest of the words, and we never ask for a review or rating.
  • Rounds before November 2026 do not require a post.

4. Eligibility

  • Open to residents of India aged 18 or over with a valid Indian shipping address.
  • Employees and immediate family of CardAdvisor are not eligible.

5. Winners & prize

  • Up to 10 winners are drawn at random from valid entries shortly after each round ends and notified by email. From the November 2026 round each entry's chance of being drawn is proportional to its number of chances (section 3). An entry can win once per round.
  • We announce each round's winners on our winners page: the name given with the entry, the email address with most of it hidden (for example ra•••@gmail.com), the tee line and, from the November 2026 round, the number of approved posts. If you would rather not be listed, tell us and we will take you off the page; you keep the prize.
  • The prize is one customised CardAdvisor t-shirt per winner, shipped free within India. No cash alternative; the prize is not transferable.
  • To send the prize we ask each winner, by email, for a postal address, a phone number for the courier, and a t-shirt size and fit. We never ask for money, card details or an OTP.
  • If a winner does not respond within 14 days of notification, we may draw a replacement winner.
  • Printed text is subject to our approval — we will not print content that is offensive, infringing, misleading, or that references third-party trademarks (including bank and card network names).

6. Privacy

We use your email to run the Giveaway: to confirm your entry and to reach you if you win. Entering signs you up for no other email unless you leave the "Send me more exciting news and offers" box on the entry form ticked: that news and those offers start only when you confirm your email, come at most once a week, are chosen from the cards you look at on CardAdvisor, and every email has a link to stop them. You can enter with the box unticked. Until you confirm, we send a reminder every other day until the month ends, at most four reminders, and every one of these emails has a link to stop the reminders. So that one device enters only once a round, we also record your browser's session ID and IP address with your entry; we delete those 90 days after you enter, and the whole entry 180 days after you enter. A post you send us from 29 October 2026 is shown on the /giveaway page once we approve it, with your first name, the post's link and the screenshot if you send one; ask us and we take it off. Posts sent before that date are seen only by us. We use the links and screenshots of your posts to check your entry and delete them 90 days after you send them. If you win, your name, a masked form of your email address and your tee line stay on our winners page as the record of the draw, unless you ask us to take them off. 7. General

  • We may modify, suspend, or end the Giveaway at any time; changes apply to future rounds.
  • The Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, any bank, card issuer or payment network, or X, Facebook, Instagram or any other platform you post on.
  • Our decision on winners and printed content is final.
