Kotak publishes no way to apply for the White Reserve. Its eligibility page returns a 404, no income or credit-score criterion appears anywhere on the bank’s site, and Kotak directs interested customers to Customer Care or a relationship manager. The "Apply Now" button that appears on the White Reserve page belongs to the cheaper Kotak White in the related-products strip.
How to get an invitation
- Ask your Kotak relationship manager directly. This is the route Kotak itself names — the bank points White Reserve enquiries to Customer Care or an RM rather than to a form.
- Deepen the Kotak relationship first. At a ₹12,500 metal super-premium tier the card sits alongside Kotak’s private and wealth propositions, so the banking relationship is what gets the conversation started.
- Be ready to use it at the level it is priced for. The fee waives only at ₹10 lakh of annual spend, and the White Pass ladder pays nothing at all below ₹3 lakh.
- If you want a Kotak card you can simply apply for, the cheaper Kotak White is the openly applicable one — and it is what the Apply button on the Reserve’s own page actually points at.
What issuers look for
- Kotak publishes NO income or credit-score criterion for this card — any figure you see quoted, including ours previously, is an outside estimate
- Issuance handled through Customer Care or a relationship manager; no public application form
- ₹12,500 joining and annual fee, waived only at ₹10 lakh of annual spend

Pros & cons
✓ Pros
- Unlimited domestic and international airport lounge access (1,000+ lounges) for primary and add-on cardholders, with no spend condition
- 2 complimentary golf rounds a month, up to 24 a year
- Complimentary Club Marriott membership, with 25% off food and beverage in India, 20% across Asia-Pacific and 3 stay certificates

- Each White Pass is worth ₹1 on Kotak Unbox or when transferred to Kotak's airline and hotel partners
✕ Cons
- Nothing is earned below ₹3 lakh of annual spend, because the whole reward is the White Pass milestone ladder
- The ₹12,500 fee waives only at ₹10 lakh of annual spend, a steep threshold
- Taken as cashback or statement credit, a White Pass is worth ₹0.70 instead of ₹1
- White Pass expires 15 months after the date it is credited
- No public application route; Kotak publishes no eligibility criteria and directs interested customers to Customer Care or a relationship manager
Eligibility
Kotak Mahindra Bank publishes no eligibility criteria for this card — no minimum income, no age band, no credit-score floor, and no document checklist. That is not an oversight on our part: the card is issued strictly by invitation, there is no public application form, and so there is nothing to qualify for in the usual sense. Any income or score level in the panel above is indicative of the profile the bank extends the card to, not a threshold it states, and the same goes for any salary figure quoted for it elsewhere.
What actually decides an invitation is the relationship behind it — balances held with the bank, spend on an existing card, and the banking segment you sit in. We set those signals out in how to get an invitation above, labelled for what they are: observed patterns, not published criteria.
How to redeem rewards
Ways to convert what you earn into real value.
- 🎁White Pass catalogue on Kotak Unbox — vouchers, flights, hotels and experiences at 1 White Pass = ₹1
- 🎁Transfer to Kotak's airline and hotel partners, also at 1 White Pass = ₹1
- 🎁Cashback / statement credit at 1 White Pass = ₹0.70
- 🎁Club Marriott discounts on hotel stays, dining and spa
- 🎁White Pass is valid for 15 months from the date it is credited
What your Kotak Reward Points are worth
Realistic value per point by redemption route — the difference is what most people leave on the table.
Standard redemption
Brand & e-gift vouchers
The fee only makes sense at ₹10 lakh+ of annual spend, the White Pass currency is milestone-based rather than flat — nothing at all is earned below ₹3 lakh of spend — and rivals like the HDFC Diners Black out-earn it for the same money.

The bottom line
Judged as what it actually is — a ₹12,500 metal super-premium card — the White Reserve assembles a genuinely flagship bundle: unlimited lounges, Club Marriott and two golf rounds a month, with an effective ~1.6–2.5% via White Pass. For the Kotak HNW customer who clears ₹10 lakh it justifies itself; on open-market value alone, the HDFC Diners Black is the deeper card.
How this page was built
Counted from this card’s own record: 1 earn rule and 12 recorded perks. The renewal fee is conditional — it is waived on a published spend target, so the fee you pay depends on what you spend.

Credit Cards That Come With a Dining or Hotel Membership (2026): Club Marriott, EazyDiner Prime, Taj Epicure
Some premium cards bundle a paid dining-or-stay membership as a perk — Club Marriott, EazyDiner Prime, Taj Epicure, Taj InnerCircle. This guide maps which card gets you which membership in 2026, what each membership actually does, and the one valuation rule that keeps a bundled perk from flattering a card: a membership is worth what you'll use, not its face value. Distinct from our best-dining-rate guide — this is about the memberships, not the reward rates.
Kotak White Reserve Credit Card
The Kotak White Reserve is a ₹12,500 metal super-premium card — Kotak's genuine flagship, built on a milestone-based "White Pass" reward currency with unlimited lounges, Club Marriott and two golf rounds a month. Kotak Zen Signature Credit Card
Domestic and international lounge access at a ₹1,500 fee, waived at a clearable spend — genuinely strong value for a Kotak account holder who travels. The June 2025 devaluation softened it (lounges now spend-gated at ₹75k/quarter, some categories capped), so it's "decent with conditions" now. Judge it on the perks you'll use, not the points — worth ₹0.25 against the catalogue but only ₹0.20 in cash after the June 2025 cut.
Kotak White Credit Card
The mainstream member of Kotak's White family, sitting well below the ₹12,500 metal White Reserve. For a ₹3,000 fee it runs on a milestone 'White Pass' currency — roughly ₹2,000 of value at ₹2 lakh of spend, scaling to ₹27,000 at ₹12 lakh — plus a Priority Pass membership, a ₹1,500 welcome voucher and a fuel-surcharge waiver. Because rewards are milestone-gated, the headline ~2.25% only lands at ₹12 lakh; moderate spenders sit closer to ~1%.
Kotak Solitaire Credit Card
An invite-only travel card for Kotak's ₹75-lakh-relationship crowd — zero forex, unlimited domestic and international lounges, and Air Miles worth a real ₹1 each on travel (10 per ₹100 on Kotak Unbox bookings, 3 per ₹100 elsewhere). No fee while you stay in the program, but a ₹25,000 downgrade clause and a wide no-earn exclusions list keep it honest. A genuinely good card for the few who are invited to it.
Kotak Privy League Signature Credit Card
Discontinued: Kotak has stopped sourcing this card and its product page is now headed '(Discontinued)' — so this is a guide for existing holders. For them it remains a serviceable relationship card: a choice of Shopper's or Traveller's reward plans and lounge access. The often-quoted ₹1,000-a-month milestone worth 6,400 points a quarter is a paid-variant benefit only — Kotak restricts it explicitly. Shopping Kotak premium today? White Reserve exempted from the bank-wide reward cuts and category fees
No category transaction fees; all spends earned White Pass→Unchanged — the revision did not extend to White Reserve
Kotak's June 2025 revision cut rewards and added 1% category transaction fees across most of its range. The White Reserve was left out of both halves. Kotak's MCC annexure lists the affected variants in two tables — one for transaction fees, one for reward and milestone exclusions — and White Reserve appears in neither, while its Key Fact Statement states the position directly: fees on rent, utility, education, fuel, wallet loading and online skill-based gaming are all "Waived". Corrected 2026-08-04: this event previously claimed the reward exclusions did hit the White Reserve and only the fee exemption applied. That was wrong in the direction that costs a reader money — it described a devaluation that never happened on this card. Its only source was a non-issuer blog, and it contradicted the Kotak annexure it named as its own provenance.
