If you hold this card: Vistara has ceased operations, so this premium co-brand is closed to new applicants and its Club Vistara Points were migrated 1:1 to Air India Maharaja Points. Premium Economy ticket milestones were withdrawn for cards renewed after 1 April 2025.
The premium tier of SBI’s Club Vistara range, withdrawn after Vistara merged into Air India (last flights November 2024) and Club Vistara moved into the Maharaja Club. CV Points became Maharaja Points; there is no direct successor — the SBI Miles family is the nearest current travel option.

Quick verdict: This card is discontinued. The Club Vistara SBI Card PRIME was a premium Vistara co-brand that earned 4 CV Points per ₹200 on all spends, a complimentary Premium Economy air-ticket voucher at annual-spend milestones, plus lounge access and Priority Pass. After Vistara merged into Air India in November 2024, the card was closed to new applicants and holders were migrated to Air India. This page is kept for reference and history.
Why it's discontinued
Vistara — the Tata–Singapore Airlines joint venture — was folded into Air India, with its last independent flights operating in November 2024. When an airline co-brand loses its airline, the card loses its reason to exist. SBI stopped issuing the Club Vistara PRIME to new applicants, and existing cardholders were transitioned as the merger completed. If you are researching this card to apply, you cannot — and the rest of this review is background rather than a recommendation.
What it offered (for the record)
While live, the PRIME was a solid mid-premium travel co-brand:
- 4 Club Vistara Points per ₹200 on all retail categories, including fuel.
- A complimentary Premium Economy air-ticket voucher (valued at around ₹10,000) on reaching annual-spend
milestones — ₹8 lakh of spend.
- 8 domestic lounge visits a year (max 2/quarter) plus a Priority Pass with 4 international visits,
complimentary for two years.
- Travel insurance: lost-card liability to ₹1 lakh, flight-cancellation cover and baggage protections.
It carried a ₹2,999 joining fee with no renewal fee from the second year — which is why the recurring fee shows as nil here now that the card is no longer renewed. Note that the milestone Premium Economy ticket benefits were withdrawn for cards due for renewal after 1 April 2025, ahead of the wind-down.
What happened to Club Vistara Points
The most important practical question for former holders: Club Vistara Points were migrated to Air India's Maharaja Points programme. Existing balances are redeemable through Air India's loyalty programme and its partner airlines rather than the old Club Vistara portal.
Where holders should go now
If you held this card for flexible travel rewards, the natural successors are SBI's Miles family, which runs on transferable Travel Credits with no single-airline lock-in:
- SBI Card MILES — the low-fee flexible-miles starter.
- SBI Card Miles Elite — the premium option with Priority Pass, a 1.99% forex
markup and higher earn on travel.
The bottom line
The Club Vistara SBI Card PRIME was a capable travel co-brand in its time, but it is now a historical product: Vistara no longer flies, the card is closed, and Club Vistara Points live on as Air India Maharaja Points. Treat this page as reference — and if you want SBI travel rewards today, look at the Miles family instead.
