▲ Revaluation▼ Devaluation◆ Neutral / reversed

2025

  1. ▼ FeeEffective 1 Nov 2025

System-wide fee revision — 1% on third-party education payments and large wallet loads

From 1 Nov 2025 SBI Card added a 1% fee on education-fee payments made through third-party apps/aggregators (direct school, college and campus-POS payments stay free) and a 1% fee on digital-wallet loads above ₹1,000. It applies to Reliance SBI Card PRIME like every SBI card; wallet loads on this card already earn no Reward Points, so the change is a cost, not a reward cut.

  2. ▲ RewardEffective 1 Oct 2025

AJIO & JioMart earn rate doubled

    10 RP per ₹100 (~2.5%)→20 RP per ₹100 (~5%)

From 1 October 2025 SBI Card doubled the accelerated earn on AJIO and JioMart across the Reliance co-brand. The Reliance SBI Card PRIME went from 10 to 20 Reward Points per ₹100 (~2.5% to ~5% at ₹0.25/point), excluding UPI payments. This is the card's current headline benefit and reconciles to our live catalogue rate of 20 RP per ₹100.

Verification: SBI Card ↗ · Confidence: High

2024

  1. ▼ FeeEffective 15 Mar 2024

Minimum Amount Due (MAD) calculation revised

From 15 Mar 2024 SBI Card revised the portfolio-wide Minimum Amount Due formula to 100% of GST + EMI + fees/charges plus 5% of (finance charge + retail spends + cash advance) + overlimit, and where 5% falls short of the finance charge the MAD becomes 100% of finance charges. It does not change the total owed but raises the minimum payable, so it hits Reliance SBI Card PRIME holders who revolve a balance; it does not touch rewards.
