The Axis Olympus cannot be applied for — Axis publishes no product page or application route. It is the card onto which former Citi Prestige holders were migrated, and it is otherwise extended by invitation within Axis Bank’s Burgundy and HNI relationships.
How to get an invitation
- Become an Axis Burgundy or Burgundy Private customer. Olympus sits alongside the Reserve in Axis’s relationship-led tier — a wealth-banking relationship is the realistic route, so ask your relationship manager once your Total Relationship Value is substantial.
- Spend heavily on a senior Axis card. A clean, high-volume record on a Magnus, Atlas or Horizon builds the internal profile Axis screens before extending its unadvertised cards.
- The founding route is closed: Olympus was issued to former Citi Prestige holders when Axis absorbed Citi’s India consumer business. If you held a Citi Prestige, that migration has already happened — it is not a channel you can join today.
What issuers look for
- Burgundy / Burgundy Private wealth relationship with Axis
- Migrated Citi Prestige portfolio holder (the founding base)
- Very high spend on an existing senior Axis card
Observed patterns, not criteria the bank publishes. Any income or score level here is indicative.
Not publicly sourced — Axis lists no Olympus product page and no apply route; it reaches customers as a migration or relationship offer only.
In-depth review
Axis Bank Olympus Credit Card
Axis Bank's ₹20,000 super-premium travel card and the home of migrated Citi Prestige holders. It earns a modest 1 EDGE Mile per ₹100, but each mile transfers 1:4 to most partners, and the carried-over Prestige perks — an annual ₹10,000 Taj/ITC voucher, third-night-free hotels, unlimited lounges and 1.80% forex — are where the value really sits.

If you spend heavily abroad, the 1.80% forex markup and 2-miles-per-₹100 international rate compound quickly.

Pros & cons
✓ Pros
- Annual ₹10,000 Taj/ITC hotel voucher as both welcome and renewal benefit — recovers half the fee outright
- EDGE Miles transfer 1:4 to most airline and hotel partners (BA Avios, Finnair, IndiGo BluChip, Vietnam, Qatar Privilege Club, Cathay and Accor at 1:2; Marriott dropped Apr 2026)
- Third-night-free hotel benefit on Hotels.com, twice a year (a carried-over Citi Prestige perk)
- Unlimited domestic and international lounge access for primary and add-on cardholders, plus 10 guest visits
- Low 1.80% forex markup with 2 EDGE Miles per ₹100 on international spends
✕ Cons
- Low headline earn — 1 EDGE Mile per ₹100 domestic; real value depends on transferring at 1:4 to most partners
- Long exclusion list — rent, fuel, utilities, insurance, education, government, wallet and transport earn nothing
- ₹20,000 fee with no fee-waiver spend threshold — you pay it every year
- EDGE Miles redeem best via partner transfer; base statement value is only ~₹1 per mile
Eligibility
Axis Bank publishes no eligibility criteria for this card — no minimum income, no age band, no credit-score floor, and no document checklist. That is not an oversight on our part: the card is issued strictly by invitation, there is no public application form, and so there is nothing to qualify for in the usual sense. Any income or score level in the panel above is indicative of the profile the bank extends the card to, not a threshold it states, and the same goes for any salary figure quoted for it elsewhere.
What actually decides an invitation is the relationship behind it — balances held with the bank, spend on an existing card, and the banking segment you sit in. We set those signals out in how to get an invitation above, labelled for what they are: observed patterns, not published criteria.
How to redeem rewards
Ways to convert what you earn into real value.
- 🎁Partner transfer: convert EDGE Miles 1:4 to most airline/hotel partners (BA Avios, Finnair, IndiGo BluChip, Vietnam, Qatar Privilege Club, Cathay and Accor at 1:2; Marriott removed Apr 2026), up to 7.5 lakh EDGE Miles a year — the highest-value route.
- 🎁EDGE Rewards catalogue: redeem for flights, hotels, products and gift vouchers via the Axis EDGE portal.
- 🎁Instant in-store redemption at select partner outlets (minimum 500 EDGE Miles).
What your Axis EDGE Miles are worth
Realistic value per point by redemption route — the difference is what most people leave on the table.
≈₹1/mile, fixed, against any flight on the Axis Travel EDGE portal — no blackout
Floor — use only if miles are near expiry
Atlas: 1 EDGE Mile → 2 partner miles on most of the Axis partner list (Air India, KrisFlyer, Flying Blue, Aeroplan, Etihad, United, Turkish, Qantas, JAL and more) — 2:1 only to British Airways, Finnair, IndiGo BluChip, Qatar Privilege Club, Vietnam Lotusmiles, Cathay Asia Miles & Accor, and 1:1 to Orchid, Radisson & Miles & More. Olympus doubles that again at 1:4; Horizon 1:1; IOCL Premium 2:1. Group A cap ~30k/yr within a 1.5L ceiling (Atlas). Marriott removed Apr 2026; Qatar and Accor were cut then too but returned (Aug and Sep 2026) in that weak 2:1 band.

The headline earn is low (1 EDGE Mile per ₹100 domestic) and a long exclusion list — rent, fuel, utilities, insurance, education, government, wallet and transport all earn nothing — so unless you lean on the hotel voucher, third-night-free and lounge perks, ₹20,000 a year is hard to recover on rewards alone. There is no fee-waiver spend threshold.

The bottom line
Olympus is a lifestyle-and-hotel super-premium card first and a rewards engine second. Its 1 EDGE Mile per ₹100 base looks thin until you remember the 1:4 transfer to most partners and the annual ₹10,000 hotel voucher, which alone recovers half the fee. For a Taj/ITC loyalist who travels internationally it is genuinely compelling; for a pure points-maximiser chasing statement value it is not, because the base earn and the long exclusion list keep everyday return low. Judge it on the perks, not the multiplier.

Complimentary memberships renew only if you opt in
Memberships renewed automatically each year→Renewed only with the cardholder's explicit consent
From 15 November 2026 the complimentary memberships attached to the card — the lifestyle, dining and travel programmes bundled with the annual fee — renew only if you actively consent. Axis says renewal details and consent options will be shared closer to each renewal date. Read it as a cost-control move: a benefit you have to remember to claim is a benefit fewer people claim, so if you value one of these memberships, watch for the consent prompt rather than assuming it rolls over.

Accor ALL returns as a transfer partner, in Group A
Accor ALL unavailable since 2 April 2026→Accor ALL back, in Group A
Accor Live Limitless is back in the EDGE transfer table, almost six months after Axis removed it on 2 April 2026. It returns in Group A, so it shares the smaller annual cap, and on several cards at a less generous ratio than the card gives its airline partners; the Atlas, for instance, moves 2 EDGE Miles into 1 Accor point where most of its airlines get 1 into 2. Check the card's own transfer table before planning a large transfer.

Cathay Asia Miles, Lufthansa Miles & More and Hilton Honors added
None of the three available→Asia Miles in Group A; Miles & More and Hilton Honors in Group B
Three new programmes joined the EDGE transfer table in the same overnight change. Cathay Pacific Asia Miles sits in Group A with the smaller annual cap; Lufthansa Miles & More and Hilton Honors sit in Group B with the larger one. Ratios vary by card.

Club ITC removed as a transfer partner
Club ITC available→Club ITC removed
Axis dropped Club ITC from its EDGE transfer table in the same overnight change. It had been one of the better-value hotel routes left after the April 2026 cut, since ITC points redeem against stays and dining at ITC hotels in India.

Flying Blue, Air India and Qantas moved into the smaller Group A transfer cap
Group B (the larger annual transfer allowance)→Group A (a quarter of the Group B allowance); ratios unchanged
Axis moved Air France-KLM Flying Blue, Air India Maharaja Club and Qantas Frequent Flyer from Group B to Group A of its EDGE transfer partners, overnight and without notice. The conversion ratios did not change, but Group A carries a quarter of the Group B annual allowance, so far fewer points can reach these three programmes each year. On the Atlas, for example, the most that can go to Air India in a calendar year falls from 1,20,000 EDGE Miles to 30,000.
