In-depth review
BOBCARD Etihad Guest Credit Card
BOBCARD's junior Etihad co-brand: 3 Etihad Guest Miles per ₹100 on Etihad and a 1% forex markup for ₹2,500. The catch is the base rate — 1 Mile per ₹100 works out to roughly 0.5%, thin for the fee, and the miles are locked inside Etihad Guest with no cash or voucher fallback. A loyalty card for genuine Etihad flyers, not a rewards card.

👑 PREMIUM LIFESTYLE BENEFITS

₹6,000
Milestone bonus value
- Complimentary Etihad Guest Silver tier — but only after you complete a transaction on Etihad.com within 6 months of card issuance. It is not granted automatically on card spend.
- 12,000 bonus Miles on ₹7.5 lakh of annual spend. A smaller ladder sits below it: 250 Miles a month on any 4 transactions totalling ₹25,000, 2,000 Miles a quarter on ₹2 lakh, and 500 Miles for flying Etihad twice in a year.
For someone who already flies Etihad out of India often enough to redeem on Etihad metal, wants miles landing in their Etihad Guest account without any transfer admin, and will put their Etihad ticket spend on the card. If you fly Etihad rarely, the 0.5% base earn makes this an expensive way to collect miles you may struggle to use.

Pros & cons
✓ Pros
- 3 Miles per ₹100 on Etihad Airways, credited straight into your Etihad Guest account with no transfer admin
- 1% forex markup — low for a ₹2,500 card, useful on cross-border spend
- 7,500 welcome Miles (~₹3,750) broadly cover the first-year fee
- 8 domestic and 4 international lounge visits a year
- A monthly, quarterly and annual bonus ladder rewards steady spenders, topping out at 12,000 Miles on ₹7.5 lakh
✕ Cons
- 1 Mile per ₹100 (~0.5%) on everyday spend is thin for a ₹2,500 card — this only works if you fly Etihad
- Miles are locked to Etihad Guest — no statement credit, no vouchers, no transfer out, and they expire on Etihad's tier-based schedule
- Etihad Guest Silver tier is not automatic — it requires a transaction on Etihad.com within 6 months
- A long exclusion list — rent, insurance, telecom, education, government, wallet loads and waiver-eligible fuel earn nothing at all
- The ₹5,000 Etihad Guest Premium doubles every earn rate and drops forex to 0% for ₹2,500 more

How to redeem rewards
Ways to convert what you earn into real value.
- 🎁Etihad Guest — flight bookings: Redeem Miles for Etihad flights via Pay with Miles on Etihad.com. Dynamic pricing applies. (~₹0.50/Mile)
- 🎁Etihad Guest — cabin upgrades: Use Miles to upgrade an existing Etihad booking, usually the strongest value per Mile. (Variable)
- 🎁Etihad Guest — extra baggage and partner services: Redeem against baggage allowance and Etihad partner travel services. (Variable)
What your BOB Reward Points are worth
Realistic value per point by redemption route — the difference is what most people leave on the table.
Standard redemption
Brand & e-gift vouchers
The miles are locked to Etihad Guest — swept out automatically each statement, redeemable only through Etihad, and subject to Etihad's tier-based expiry — so if your travel plans change, the balance is stranded with no cash or voucher fallback.

The bottom line
This is a loyalty card, not a rewards card, and it should be judged that way. The 1 Mile per ₹100 base — about 0.5% — is well below what a ₹2,500 card would normally pay, so everyday spend here is a poor trade. What you are buying is a direct pipe into Etihad Guest plus a 1% forex markup, and that only pays off if Etihad is genuinely your airline. The welcome miles cover the first year's fee; the years after that depend entirely on whether you fly.
How this page was built
Counted from this card’s own record: 2 earn rules, 1 paid only at named merchants, the spends listed as earning nothing and 4 recorded perks. The renewal fee is conditional — it is waived on a published spend target, so the fee you pay depends on what you spend.

BOBCARD Etihad Guest Premium Credit Card
A genuine 0% forex markup at ₹5,000, plus Etihad Guest Silver on your first swipe and a route to Gold — that combination is rare in India. The miles themselves are ordinary (2 per ₹100, about 1%) and locked inside Etihad Guest. Buy it for the forex and the status; treat the miles as a bonus, not the business case.

BOBCARD × Etihad Guest co-brand launched
BOBCARD Ltd and Etihad Guest launched two co-branded cards in India in January 2026 — unveiled at a Mumbai event around 30 January — with BOBCARD becoming the sole issuer of Etihad Guest co-brand cards in India after the previous SBI Card partnership wound down (SBI Etihad benefits ceased in late 2025 and those cards closed on 31 March 2026). The junior card carries a ₹2,500 + GST fee, earns 3 Etihad Guest Miles per ₹100 on Etihad Airways and 1 Mile per ₹100 on all other spends, a 1% forex markup, 8 domestic and 4 international lounge visits a year, and complimentary Etihad Guest Silver tier (conditional on an Etihad.com transaction within 6 months of issuance). Launch promotion doubled the welcome miles for members who joined before 28 February 2026.
