Bank of Baroda Premier Credit Card

BOB Premier is Bank of Baroda's mid-tier rewards card: 10 reward points per ₹100 (~2.5% at ₹0.25/point) on travel, dining and international spends — a 5X accelerator capped at 2,000 points a month — and 2 RP/₹100 elsewhere. It costs ₹1,000 to join, reversed on ₹10,000 of spend in the first 60 days, and ₹1,000 a year, waived on ₹1.2 lakh of annual spend. It includes one airport lounge visit per quarter on ₹20,000 of prior-quarter spend. A solid category card for Bank of Baroda customers who travel and dine out.

Mid tier
Premier is a tidy mid-tier card: the 5X (10 RP/₹100) on travel/dining/international is genuinely useful within the 2,000-point monthly cap, and the ₹1,000 fee is waived for anyone who spends ₹1.2 lakh a year on it. The 2 RP base is forgettable, so keep it for its accelerator categories.

In-depth review

Bank of Baroda Premier Credit Card

Covers the categories it accelerates — dining, travel, international — at a rate that's fair but forgettable. The sensible default for a Bank of Baroda account holder who wants a mid-tier card without leaving the bank; unremarkable for anyone else. Its ₹1,000 fee is waived at ₹1.2 lakh of annual spend, so a regular user keeps it for nothing.

Frequently asked questions

What is the annual fee for the Bank of Baroda Premier Credit Card?
The annual fee is ₹1,000, waived on ₹1.2 lakh of annual spend. The joining fee is also ₹1,000 and reverses on ₹10,000 of spend within 60 days of card set-up. The renewal fee is ₹1,000 plus 18% GST — ₹1,180 all-in, which is the figure that actually hits the statement. Spending ₹1,20,000 in the card year waives the renewal fee — about ₹10,000 a month. Figures as of October 2026.
What is the foreign currency markup?
3.5% of the transaction value on every foreign-currency spend — mid-market for a mid-tier card, so it is not the card to carry abroad. On this card the foreign-currency markup is 3.5%, and 18% GST applies on the markup fee, so the effective cost is about 4.13% of the transaction. On ₹1,00,000 of overseas spend that works out to roughly ₹4,130 in conversion charges before any rewards offset. Figures as of October 2026.
Is there a fuel surcharge waiver?
Yes — a 1% fuel surcharge waiver on fuel transactions of ₹400–₹5,000, capped at ₹250 per statement cycle. Fuel spends themselves earn no reward points. This card waives the 1% fuel surcharge, capped at ₹250 — the waiver offsets the surcharge itself, separate from any rewards the fuel spend earns. Figures as of October 2026.
What is the minimum age and income to apply?
Applicants must be between 25 and 55 years of age with a net annual income above ₹7.2 lakh (₹60,000 per month). The issuer's published income bar for this card works out to ₹60,000 a month (its salaried figure, where it sets a separate one for the self-employed), and its published age band is 25–55. Treat it as necessary rather than sufficient: credit score, existing exposure and banking relationship all sit on top of any income number. Figures as of October 2026.

Our dated Value Timeline for the Bank of Baroda Premier Credit Card (on this page) records 9 changes since 2019: 7 devaluations, 1 improvement, and the rest neutral changes such as launches or restructures. The bottom line

How this page was built

Counted from this card’s own record: 4 earn rules, 3 of them capped, the spends listed as earning nothing and 3 recorded perks. The renewal fee is conditional — it is waived on a published spend target, so the fee you pay depends on what you spend.

→

Bank of Baroda Eterna Credit Card

The best card Bank of Baroda makes — 3.75% on online, travel, dining and international spends plus unlimited domestic lounges, for a ₹2,499 fee that waives at ₹2.5 lakh of spend. On rate alone it punches well above BOB's reputation. The one persistent catch is redemption: BOB's shallow catalogue makes extracting the full 3.75% harder than earning it.

→

Bank of Baroda Tiara Credit Card

Most premium cards differentiate on reward rate; the BOBCARD Tiara differentiates on who it's for. A women-first card anchored by complimentary health screenings (Pap smear, mammography) that almost no other Indian card offers, plus 5X rewards, unlimited domestic lounges and lifestyle memberships. For women who'll use the health benefit, it's an easy card to like — held back only by BOB's thin rewards ecosystem.

→

BOBCARD Select Credit Card

BOBCARD Select is the BOBCARD Easy's engine with dining and online swapped in as the 5X categories, for ₹250 more a year — 5 reward points per ₹100 (~1% at Bank of Baroda's official ₹0.20/point) on those two, capped at 1,000 points per statement cycle SHARED across both, and 1 RP per ₹100 elsewhere, which is the same base rate the cheaper Easy already gives. No lounge access, and it cannot be linked to UPI. Judge it on whether dining and online are genuinely your two biggest categories — that pairing is the only thing the extra ₹250 buys.
