The Kotak Solitaire is extended by invitation to Kotak Solitaire banking members — there is no open application form. It is complimentary while you remain a Solitaire relationship customer; leaving the programme triggers a ₹25,000 + GST fee.
How to get an invitation
- Become a Kotak Solitaire banking customer. The card follows the Solitaire wealth relationship — qualifying for that programme is the only route in.
- Meet the Solitaire relationship bar. Kotak sets it at a net salary credit of ₹5,00,000 a month, or a relationship value of ₹75 lakh for salaried customers (₹1 crore if self-employed).
- Consolidate deposits and investments with Kotak to reach and hold the Solitaire tier, then ask your relationship manager about the Solitaire credit card.
What issuers look for
- Kotak Solitaire relationship (₹5,00,000 monthly net salary credit, or ₹75 lakh relationship value salaried, ₹1 crore self-employed)
- Complimentary while in the programme; ₹25,000 + GST fee on downgrade
- Relationship reviewed every six months — Kotak may withdraw Solitaire benefits if holdings fall below the bar
The income figure is the bank’s own, from its Kotak Solitaire banking page; the other points are observed patterns.
In-depth review
Kotak Solitaire Credit Card
An invite-only travel card for Kotak's ₹75-lakh-relationship crowd — zero forex, unlimited domestic and international lounges, and Air Miles worth a real ₹1 each on travel (10 per ₹100 on Kotak Unbox bookings, 3 per ₹100 elsewhere). No fee while you stay in the program, but a ₹25,000 downgrade clause and a wide no-earn exclusions list keep it honest. A genuinely good card for the few who are invited to it.

Eligibility
Kotak Mahindra Bank states one eligibility figure for this card: a net salary credit of ₹5,00,000 a month, or a relationship value of ₹75 lakh (₹1 crore if self-employed), set out in its Kotak Solitaire banking page. Beyond that there is no public application form, so there is nothing else to qualify for in the usual sense. Meeting the figure makes you someone the bank may offer the card to; it does not open an application.
What actually decides an invitation is the relationship behind it — balances held with the bank, spend on an existing card, and the banking segment you sit in. We set those signals out in how to get an invitation above, labelled for what they are: the one published figure, and observed patterns for the rest.
How to redeem rewards
Ways to convert what you earn into real value.
- 🎁Kotak Unbox: redeem Air Miles for flights, hotels and add-ons (1 Air Mile = ₹1)
- 🎁Vouchers & gift cards via the rewards platform (1 Air Mile = ₹0.50)
- 🎁Partner transfers: Air India 1:1, Marriott Bonvoy 3:1, other airline/hotel partners 2:1 (min 2,000 miles)
What your Kotak Air Miles are worth
Realistic value per point by redemption route — the difference is what most people leave on the table.
1 Air Mile = ₹1 against flights & hotels on Kotak Unbox, up to 80% of the booking value
Half the Unbox rate — a floor, not a route worth using
Air India is the ONLY partner whose ratio moves by card, and it moves a lot: Solitaire 1:1, Air+ Prime 2:1, Kotak Air 3:1 — Solitaire is three times better than Kotak Air into the same programme. Everything else is flat across the family: Accor, Qatar, BA, Cathay, United and Flying Blue 2:1, Marriott 3:1. Etihad is Solitaire and Air+ Prime only; Aeroplan is Air+ Prime only. Because an Air Mile is already worth a fixed ₹1 on Kotak Unbox, transferring at 1:1 only wins if the partner award beats ₹1/mile — which in practice means premium-cabin redemptions, not economy.

The ₹25,000 + GST fee that lands if you are downgraded from the Solitaire program, plus a broad no-earn exclusions list (rent, wallet, fuel, utilities, insurance, education, EMI, international) — the strong Air Miles rate really only applies to Kotak Unbox travel spends.

The bottom line
For the invited HNW Kotak customer the Solitaire is a legitimately good travel card — 10 Air Miles per ₹100 on Unbox travel at a real ₹1 per mile, zero forex, unlimited lounges and a concierge, all with no fee while you stay in the program. The math only works if your travel runs through Kotak Unbox and you stay inside the relationship, because the base 3 Air Miles on other spends is fair-not-exceptional, the exclusions are wide, and a downgrade triggers a ₹25,000 fee. Held for its travel core by the right customer, it earns its place.

Kotak Solitaire Credit Card launched (invite-only HNW travel card)
Kotak launched the invite-only Solitaire Credit Card as the centrepiece of its new Solitaire affluent-banking programme — earning 10 Air Miles per ₹100 on Kotak Unbox flight/hotel bookings (capped at 1,00,000 miles per statement cycle) and 3 per ₹100 on other retail, with each mile worth about ₹1 on Unbox, zero forex markup, unlimited domestic and international lounge access, a concierge, and no joining or annual fee while you remain a Solitaire member (a ₹25,000 + GST fee applies on downgrade). As a 2025 product it was born into Kotak's post-June-2025 Air-Miles regime, so its broad no-earn exclusions (rent, wallet, fuel, utilities, insurance, education, EMI, international) and per-cycle caps are baseline at launch, not later cuts.
