Adani One ICICI Bank Platinum Credit Card

The Adani One ICICI Bank Platinum is the entry card of the Adani One co-brand. It earns 3 Adani Reward Points per ₹100 at ICICI's listed participating merchants — which, on ICICI's own published list, are the retail and food outlets inside Adani-managed airports — plus 1.5 per ₹100 on international spends and 1 per ₹100 on other domestic spend. An Adani Reward Point redeems at about ₹1 inside the Adani One app, so those rates really are about 3%, 1.5% and 1%. Utilities and insurance drop to 0.5 per ₹100, and fuel, rent, cash, EMI and wallet loads earn nothing at all. Joining benefits are a ₹2,000 flight voucher on ₹10,000 of spend in 60 days plus a ₹1,000 hotel voucher on activation, and the ₹750 fee waives at ₹3 lakh. The lifestyle perks are spend-gated: 2 airport lounge visits a quarter need ₹75,000 of spend in the previous quarter, and the BookMyShow offer needs ₹25,000. The real constraint is not the earn rate — it is that every point is trapped in one app.

In-depth review

Adani One ICICI Bank Platinum Credit Card

The entry card of the Adani One co-brand. It earns 3 Adani Reward Points per ₹100 at ICICI's listed participating merchants — which, on ICICI's own published list, are the shops and restaurants inside Adani-managed airports — and 1 point per ₹100 on everything else. An Adani Reward Point is worth about ₹1, so those are real percentages: 3% and 1%. The ₹750 fee waives at ₹3 lakh and the joining vouchers total ₹3,000. The catch is not the rate — it is that every point is trapped inside one app.

Who is this for?

For frequent flyers through Adani-managed airports who will spend inside the terminals, use Adani One for bookings and clear ₹75k/quarter to keep the lounge live. The 1% base is respectable for a ₹750 card, but only if you can actually spend the points.

The concern

The currency, not the rate. Adani Reward Points redeem only inside the Adani One app — flights, hotels, duty-free, cabs and parking — with no transfer, statement credit or cash-out, and they are forfeited outright if the card is closed. The lounge and movie perks also sit behind ₹75k and ₹25k of quarterly spend.

Frequently asked questions

What is an Adani Reward Point worth?
About ₹1, redeemed inside the Adani One app. ICICI's own launch release describes the top rate as "up to 7% Adani Reward Points", which only works if a point is a rupee — so 3 points per ₹100 really is about 3% of value, provided you can spend it on Adani One. In effective-return terms this card's best everyday earn is 1.5% on international, against 1% on other spends — percentages here are the real return after converting points at their card-specific value, not the headline points-per-₹100. It reaches 3% at ICICI's participating-merchant list — retail and food outlets inside Adani-managed airports (Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Guwahati, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Thiruvananthapuram). ICICI's launch release also names Adani One app bookings and Trainman, which the published merchant list does not., and only there. Figures as of October 2026.
What earns the accelerated 3 points per ₹100?
ICICI publishes a participating-merchant list, and it consists of retail and food outlets inside Adani-managed airports — Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Guwahati, Lucknow, Mangaluru and Thiruvananthapuram. ICICI's launch release also names the Adani One app and Trainman, but they are not on that list, and Adani CNG and Adani Electricity are handled elsewhere — fuel earns nothing, utilities earn 0.5.
What is the joining benefit?
A ₹2,000 flight voucher on ₹10,000 of spend within 60 days of activation, plus a ₹1,000 hotel voucher on activation (redeemable against a booking of ₹5,000 or more). Both are extended only where a joining fee was actually paid — if your fee is waived, the vouchers are not issued. The welcome benefit is currently valued at about ₹3,000 against a joining fee of ₹885 all-in (incl. GST) — a first-year net of roughly ₹2,115 in your favour before any spend-based rewards. Figures as of October 2026.
Is there lounge access?
Yes — 2 domestic lounge visits per quarter, but only if you spent ₹75,000 in the previous calendar quarter. That gate reached the Adani cards on 1 July 2026; before then the visits were unconditional. As per the card's current benefit schedule: 2 domestic airport lounge visits per quarter, unlocked by spending ₹75,000 in the previous calendar quarter (primary cardholder). Figures as of October 2026.

Domestic lounge access gated behind Rs 75,000/quarter spend

Unconditional (2 visits/quarter, no spend requirement)→Requires Rs 75,000 spend in the previous quarter

Unconditional lounge access was the Adani One card's standout differentiator — while most ICICI cards had required Rs 75,000/quarter since the November 2024 restructure, the Adani (and MakeMyTrip) co-brands stayed exempt. That ended on 1 July 2026: the Platinum's 2 domestic lounge visits per quarter now require Rs 75,000 of eligible spend in the previous calendar quarter (rent, education, government, fuel and similar spends are excluded from that total), putting the perk out of reach for lighter spenders.

  2. ▼ BenefitObserved 17 Dec 2025 · Effective 1 Apr 2026

    BookMyShow movie benefit becomes spend-gated

Movie discount available unconditionally→Requires Rs 25,000 spend in the previous quarter

Under ICICI's 15 Jan 2026 revision the Platinum's BookMyShow movie offer (25% off up to Rs 100, twice a month) is unlocked — with Apr-Jun 2026 the first gated quarter — only if the cardholder spent at least Rs 25,000 in the preceding calendar quarter — spending in one quarter earns the benefit for the next. It moves the perk from unconditional to spend-gated, part of ICICI's 2026 portfolio devaluation.

Verification: ICICI Bank ↗ · Confidence: High

  3. ▼ FeeObserved 19 Feb 2026 · Effective 1 Mar 2026

Minimum Amount Due rebuilt as a two-branch formula

5% of the outstanding amount, plus instalments, the over-limit amount, fee GST and any unpaid previous MAD→100% of GST, EMI principal and interest, fees, the over-limit amount and unpaid MAD, plus 5% of retail spends, cash advances and the finance charge — the finance charge taken in full whenever that 5% falls short of it

From the 1 March 2026 statement onwards ICICI stopped deriving the Minimum Amount Due from a single 5%-of-outstanding line and began building it component by component: GST, EMI principal and interest, fees and charges, the over-limit amount and any unpaid previous MAD are all taken at 100%, and 5% is applied to retail spends, cash advances and the finance charge. Where 5% of those three comes to less than the finance charge alone, the whole finance charge is added instead and only retail and cash are taken at 5%. ICICI illustrates both branches itself — a minimum of ₹11,210 on a ₹37,830 total due, and ₹21,620 on a ₹1,15,810 total due where finance charges dominate. Paying the statement in full is unaffected; the minimum rises only for people carrying a balance or taking cash.

Verification: ICICI Bank ↗ · Confidence: High

  4. ▼ FeeObserved 17 Dec 2025 · Effective 15 Jan 2026

New wallet, gaming and currency-conversion transaction fees

No wallet-load / gaming / DCC surcharge→Wallet-load, gaming and DCC fees added

As part of ICICI's portfolio-wide 2026 fee revision, from 15 January 2026 a 1% fee applies on third-party wallet loads of Rs 5,000 or more, a 2% fee on gaming/skill-gaming platforms, and a dynamic-currency-conversion (DCC) markup on international transactions billed in rupees. These charges are universal across ICICI cards, including the Adani One Platinum.

2025

  1. ▼ RewardEffective 1 Jan 2025

Cashback on the American Express variant withdrawn

Amex variant carried cashback offers→Cashback offers revoked

The Adani One ICICI cards are issued on more than one network, and the American Express variant originally carried cashback offers. ICICI withdrew those cashback offers effective 1 January 2025; the underlying Adani Reward Points earn and the upfront BookMyShow discount were unaffected, so the impact fell only on cardholders holding the Amex rail.
