In-depth review
IndusInd Bank Nexxt Credit Card
A genuinely original piece of hardware — the LED-button card that lets you toggle Credit, Rewards or EMI right at the terminal — wrapped around a thoroughly ordinary rewards engine of 1 point per ₹150. Add a ₹10,000 joining fee (but no annual fee) and KrisFlyer-only transfers, and the novelty has to do a lot of work. Buy it for the trick, not the return.

Pros & cons
✓ Pros
- The LED-button card — toggle Credit, Rewards or EMI right at the payment terminal
- On-card EMI conversion over 6/12/18/24 months at about 12%, on any POS purchase above ₹2,000
- ₹10,000 one-time joining fee with no recurring annual fee
- 2 BookMyShow buy-one-get-one movie tickets a month
✕ Cons
- ₹10,000 one-time joining fee is a lot to pay for an ordinary earn rate
- Base 1 RP per ₹150 (~0.50%) is below-average for the price
- Reward points transfer only to KrisFlyer — no other airline or hotel partners
- On-card EMI works only on transactions above ₹2,000 and only at a POS terminal; jewellery, fuel and ATM cash withdrawals cannot be converted, and closing an EMI early costs 3% of the principal outstanding
- From 15 June 2026 a 1% fee plus GST applies to fuel spends above ₹30,000 in a billing cycle and to non-air transport spends above ₹40,000, and rent paid through third-party merchants carries 1% plus GST on every transaction
- Dynamic currency conversion doubled to 2% plus GST on 15 June 2026, charged on top of the 3.5% forex markup when an overseas merchant bills you in rupees
- Redeeming points for cash credit costs ₹149 plus GST, and any other redemption costs ₹100

The bottom line
The Nexxt is bought for its party trick — the LED button and on-card EMI toggle are unique in India — not for its economics. The rewards (1 RP/₹150, KrisFlyer-only) are unremarkable, and the ₹10,000 one-time fee is a lot to pay for novelty. Worth it only if the hardware genuinely appeals.

IndusInd Bank Legend Credit Card
Read the current terms, not the old reviews. The IndusInd Legend was genuinely compelling — zero forex, unlimited global lounges, below super-premium pricing — but in 2026 it's been dismantled: lounge access was discontinued in March 2025, forex is 1.8% (not 0%), and InterMiles redemption is gone. What's left is a decent rewards card that costs ₹5,000 once at the front and nothing on renewal — nothing like the travel flagship the marketing implies.
CRED IndusInd Bank RuPay Credit Card
CRED's mass-market RuPay co-brand (not the invite-only CRED Sovereign) pays a real ~5% — 5 CRED Points per ₹100 — on e-commerce, CRED Pay/Store/Travel and CRED UPI, capped at 5,000 points a statement cycle. First year free, then ₹499. A focused online/UPI category card, best paired with a broad everyday card, not a do-everything wallet.
IndusInd Bank Jio-bp Mobility+ Credit Card
A fuel co-brand tied to Reliance's Jio-bp network: ~4% back at Jio-bp outlets (12 Smiles per ₹100 plus a 1% surcharge waiver), capped at 1,200 Smiles a cycle, on RuPay with UPI. Away from the pump it earns 5 Smiles per ₹100 on dining, supermarket and grocery. Nil renewal fee, joining fee waived on ₹10,000 spend. Worth it mainly if Jio-bp is genuinely your regular pump.
IndusInd Bank ePay Amex Credit Card
A lifetime-free, online-first American Express card whose rewards are frequency-based — 4 / 8 / 10 Reward Points per transaction as you cross 4 and 10 transactions a cycle, points worth just ₹0.35 each. The much-quoted 5% prompt-payment cashback is published by IndusInd with no base and no cap, so its worth cannot be calculated. A free secondary online card, not a primary earner — and no UPI.

2026
- ▼ FeeEffective 15 Jun 2026
New fuel, transport & DCC fees
From 15 Jun 2026 IndusInd added a 1%+GST fuel surcharge on spends over ₹30,000/cycle and a 1%+GST transport surcharge over ₹40,000/cycle on standard cards like the Nexxt, plus a 2%+GST fee on INR-billed international (DCC) transactions and a revised late-payment fee grid.

2025
- ▼ BenefitEffective 21 Dec 2025
Complimentary air-accident insurance withdrawn
Complimentary air-accident cover provided with the card→No air-accident cover
On 21 December 2025 IndusInd discontinued the complimentary air-accident insurance feature across its credit cards, stating simply that the coverage "stands discontinued". The bank published no replacement and named no exempt card. Note that several IndusInd product pages still described the cover months afterwards — the Avios, Duo, Pioneer Private and Platinum pages all still advertised it in August 2026 — so a reader may encounter the old wording on IndusInd's own site; the dated withdrawal notice is the operative statement. Other insurance benefits are unaffected: lost-card liability, Total Protect fraud cover, travel insurance and purchase protection continue where the card carried them.

- ▼ RedemptionObserved 25 Mar 2025 · Effective 1 Apr 2025
Cash-redemption fee raised to ₹149
₹100 + GST per cash-credit redemption→₹149 + GST per cash-credit redemption
From 1 April 2025 IndusInd raised the fee for redeeming reward points against cash credit on the IndusMoments portal from ₹100 to ₹149 plus GST. Redemptions in every other category still cost ₹100 plus GST. The same revision capped cash redemption at 50% of the points balance in any one request, on top of the Nexxt's existing 2,500-point monthly ceiling.

- ▼ TransferEffective 21 Jan 2025
InterMiles redemption withdrawn
Reward-point redemption to InterMiles was discontinued for all IndusInd credit cards, narrowing airmile options; KrisFlyer remained the Nexxt's surviving transfer route.

Monthly cash-redemption cap added
Uncapped per month→Capped 2,500–10,000 RP/month by card
IndusInd began capping how many reward points can be redeemed for cash credit each calendar month across its cards (roughly 2,500 to 10,000 RP depending on the card), limiting how fast a Nexxt holder can cash out points.
