Myntra Kotak Credit Card

The Myntra Kotak card is no longer issued. Kotak published no closure notice; the date carried everywhere is 10 July 2025, and the reporting says Kotak told holders by email and moved them to the Kotak League Platinum or Zen Signature. What Kotak's own surfaces show is removal rather than a date — the card is gone from the live line-up, from the MITC and Charges page, from the master fee schedule that names every other retail card and from the personal-banking sitemap, and its product page now returns 404 on both Kotak domains. Neither Kotak card holders were moved to carries a Myntra benefit, so there is nothing live at Kotak to recommend here. Myntra's own card store now lists the Flipkart Axis and Flipkart SBI cards, and both do pay 7.5% on Myntra — but as capped cashback rather than the uncapped instant discount this card gave, so the headline rate matches while the shape of the benefit does not. This entry is retained for context and for existing holders.

There is nothing to apply for. The Myntra Kotak card stopped being issued in 2025 — reported as 10 July 2025, though Kotak itself published no closure notice — and holders were reported to have been moved to the League Platinum or Zen Signature, neither of which carries a Myntra discount. For Myntra spend today, Myntra's own card store points at the Flipkart Axis and Flipkart SBI cards, and both match the 7.5% headline. What they do not match is its shape — Kotak ran an instant checkout discount capped per transaction and otherwise unlimited, while both replacements pay cashback against a quarterly ceiling. A heavy Myntra spender will hit that ceiling and stop earning; this card never made you stop.

If you hold this card: Existing holders were reported to have been moved to the Kotak League Platinum or Zen Signature depending on profile — neither carries the 7.5% Myntra benefit. This card paid cashback rather than reward points, and Kotak’s terms voided accrued cashback both on closure and “upon the conversion of the Card to any other Kotak Mahindra Bank credit card”, so migrating holders lost pending cashback too.

Kotak stopped offering the Myntra co-brand around 10 July 2025. Kotak published no closure notice — the date comes from trade press, and the corroboration is that the card is absent from Kotak’s card line-up, its MITC, its master fee schedule and its sitemap, its product page 404s, and Myntra’s own card store now offers Flipkart Axis and Flipkart SBI cards instead. For Myntra-first shoppers the Flipkart Axis card (Flipkart owns Myntra) is the usual suggestion, though its Myntra rate is an Axis claim we have not separately verified.

There's no live card to recommend. The concern

The card is gone. Its 7.5% headline survives on the Flipkart Axis and Flipkart SBI cards, but the uncapped-per-month instant discount that made it exceptional does not.

Frequently asked questions

Was the 7.5% truly instant?
It was an instant price reduction at checkout on Myntra, not a post-purchase credit — and Kotak was explicit that no cashback was credited on top of it.
Did it work on Myntra sale events (End of Reason Sale)?
It applied across Myntra transactions including sale events, capped at ₹750 per transaction.
Was there a monthly cap on the 7.5%?
There was no monthly cap. The Myntra discount was capped at ₹750 per transaction and applied to unlimited transactions. The ₹1,000 cap belonged to the separate 5% Preferred Partners benefit, which was limited to ₹1,000 a billing cycle.
What earned on non-Myntra spends?
Cashback, not reward points. Non-Myntra spends earned an unlimited 1.25%, and a curated list of Preferred Partners — Swiggy, Swiggy Instamart, Cleartrip, PVR online and Urban Company — earned 5% up to ₹1,000 a billing cycle. Rent, fuel, wallet loads, EMI conversions and cash advances earned nothing. In effective-return terms this card's best everyday earn is 1.25% on everyday spends — percentages here are cashback as a share of spend, credited to the statement with no points to convert. It reaches 7.5% at Myntra, and only there. Figures as of October 2026.
What was the annual fee waiver?
The ₹500 joining and ₹500 annual fee were waived on annual spend above ₹2 lakh. The renewal fee is ₹500 plus 18% GST — ₹590 all-in, which is the figure that actually hits the statement. Spending ₹2,00,000 in the card year waives the renewal fee — about ₹16,667 a month. Figures as of October 2026.
Which network was the card on?
Kotak issued it on MasterCard and on RuPay. The RuPay variant was eligible for UPI on Credit Card payments; the MasterCard variant was not, and our record models the MasterCard rail.
What replaced it for Myntra shoppers?
Myntra's own card store now lists the Flipkart Axis and Flipkart SBI cards. Both pay 7.5% on Myntra, so the headline rate survives — but both pay it as cashback against a quarterly cap of about ₹4,000, where this card gave an instant checkout discount capped only at ₹750 a transaction and otherwise unlimited. Match on the rate, not on the ceiling.
How has the Myntra Kotak Credit Card changed over time?
Our dated Value Timeline for the Myntra Kotak Credit Card (on this page) records 2 changes since 2023: 1 devaluation, 0 improvements, and the rest neutral changes such as launches or restructures. The most recent entry: Card discontinued; 7.5% Myntra benefit withdrawn (10 July 2025). Each event carries its source, so any figure here can be checked against the issuer's own documents.
Has the Myntra Kotak Credit Card been devalued recently?
Yes — our record shows 1 devaluation to the Myntra Kotak Credit Card in the last 24 months. The most recent: Card discontinued; 7.5% Myntra benefit withdrawn, effective 10 July 2025 — from 7.5% instant Myntra discount + Myntra Insider membership to Card no longer issued; holders reported moved to Kotak League Platinum or Zen Signature (no Myntra benefit). The full dated list, with what changed and its source, is in the Value Timeline on this page.

The bottom line

How this page was built

Counted from this card’s own record: 3 earn rules, 1 of them capped, 2 paid only at named merchants, the spends listed as earning nothing and 3 recorded perks. The renewal fee is conditional — it is waived on a published spend target, so the fee you pay depends on what you spend.

Card discontinued; 7.5% Myntra benefit withdrawn

7.5% instant Myntra discount + Myntra Insider membership→Card no longer issued; holders reported moved to Kotak League Platinum or Zen Signature (no Myntra benefit)

Kotak published no closure notice for this card, so the 10 July 2025 date is reported rather than issuer-stated. The reporting says Kotak notified holders by email, withdrew the 7.5% instant Myntra discount and the complimentary Myntra Insider membership, and moved holders onto the Kotak League Platinum or Zen Signature, neither of which carries any Myntra-specific reward; holders who declined could close the account instead, forfeiting pending cashback. What Kotak's own surfaces corroborate is the removal, not the date — the card is absent from the live line-up and from the six cards Kotak explicitly tags "Discontinued for new applications", absent from the MITC and Charges page, absent from the master fee schedule that names every other retail card, absent from all 1,441 URLs in the personal-banking sitemap, and its product page returns 404 on both Kotak domains (the last archived 200 is 21 June 2025). Myntra's own card store now offers the Flipkart Axis and Flipkart SBI cards and no Kotak card.

    Myntra Kotak fashion co-brand launched

    7.5% instant Myntra discount + 5% partners + 1.25% base

Kotak Mahindra Bank and Myntra launched the co-branded card on 1 June 2023 — the date on Kotak's own launch press release, which is headed "Mumbai, 1st June, 2023". The card paid an instant 7.5% discount on Myntra capped at ₹750 per transaction and applied to unlimited transactions, 5% cashback on Kotak's Preferred Partners — Swiggy, Swiggy Instamart, Cleartrip, PVR online and Urban Company — capped at ₹1,000 per billing cycle, and 1.25% on all other spends. Fees were ₹500 joining and ₹500 annual + GST, waived above ₹2 lakh of annual spend. It also carried a ₹500 Myntra e-gift voucher on a transaction of ₹500 or more within 30 days of issuance, 1 domestic lounge visit per quarter, 2 complimentary PVR tickets worth ₹250 each on ₹50,000 of spend in a calendar quarter, and complimentary Myntra Insider Select membership. An earlier version of this event dated the launch to 27 November 2023 on aggregator sourcing; Kotak's own release supersedes it.
