BOBCARD Cashback Credit Card

The BOBCARD Cashback is Bank of Baroda's dedicated flat-cashback card, built around one simple promise: 5% back on eligible domestic online spends, capped at ₹1,500 a month, and an unlimited 1% on every other spend. The accelerated 5% needs a minimum of 4 transactions in the statement cycle. The cashback is credited automatically to the statement each month — there are no points to track or redeem. The fee is flexible: either ₹49 a month or a ₹499 joining-and-annual plan, switchable once in the card's life. A 1% fuel-surcharge waiver applies on transactions of ₹400–₹5,000 (max ₹250 a statement cycle). Cashback excludes fuel, ATM cash, quasi-cash, transactions below ₹100 and the select merchant categories of the Feature T&C's Annexure 1 — which names wallet-load MCCs among them — and there is no lounge access; this is a pure everyday cashback card.

The BOBCARD Cashback does the job an entry cashback card should — 5% on online spends up to ₹1,500 a month and a clean unlimited 1% everywhere else, credited to the statement with no redemption hassle. The ₹1,500 monthly cap and the sub-₹100 / fuel / cash exclusions keep it honest rather than generous, and there is no lounge access, so it is a companion for online shopping rather than a flagship. The concern

The 5% online cashback is capped at ₹1,500 a month, and fuel, ATM cash, quasi-cash and sub-₹100 transactions earn nothing — so the headline rate applies to a fairly narrow slice of spend.

Frequently asked questions

What cashback does the BOBCARD Cashback earn?
5% on eligible domestic online spends (capped at ₹1,500 a month) and an unlimited 1% on every other eligible spend, auto-credited to the statement each month. The accelerated 5% requires a minimum of 4 transactions in that statement cycle. In effective-return terms this card's best everyday earn is 5% on online shopping (rewards capped at ₹1,500 a month in that category), against 1% on other spends — percentages here are cashback as a share of spend, credited to the statement with no points to convert. Figures as of October 2026.
What is the annual fee?
You choose either ₹49 a month or a ₹499 joining-and-annual plan; the plan can be switched once during the card's lifetime. The renewal fee is ₹499 plus 18% GST — ₹589 all-in, which is the figure that actually hits the statement. Figures as of October 2026.
Which spends do not earn cashback?
Fuel, ATM cash withdrawals, quasi-cash, transactions below ₹100 and the select merchant categories listed in Annexure 1 of the Cashback Feature Terms and Conditions are excluded — that Annexure-1 list explicitly names wallet-load MCCs, so wallet loads earn nothing.
Does it have lounge access?
No — the BOBCARD Cashback has no airport lounge access.
Is there a fuel-surcharge waiver?
Yes — a 1% waiver on fuel transactions of ₹400–₹5,000, up to ₹250 a statement cycle. This card waives the 1% fuel surcharge, capped at ₹250 — the waiver offsets the surcharge itself, separate from any rewards the fuel spend earns. Figures as of October 2026.

BOBCARD Cashback Credit Card

BOBCARD Cashback is Bank of Baroda's flat-cashback card — 5% back on eligible domestic online spends capped at ₹1,500 a month (minimum 4 transactions in the cycle), unlimited 1% on everything else, auto-credited to the statement every month. The fee is ₹49/month or ₹499/year with no spend-based waiver, and fuel, wallet loads, ATM cash and sub-₹100 transactions earn nothing.

→

Snapdeal BOBCARD Credit Card

The Snapdeal BOBCARD earns 20 reward points per ₹100 (~5% at ₹0.25/point) on Snapdeal with no stated cap, 10 RP per ₹100 (~2.5%) on other online shopping and departmental stores, and an unusually strong 4 RP per ₹100 (~1%) base rate — all on a ₹249 fee. The catch is that the fee has no waiver or reversal at any spend level, and fuel earns nothing.

→

BOBCARD Select Credit Card

BOBCARD Select is the BOBCARD Easy's engine with dining and online swapped in as the 5X categories, for ₹250 more a year — 5 reward points per ₹100 (~1% at Bank of Baroda's official ₹0.20/point) on those two, capped at 1,000 points per statement cycle SHARED across both, and 1 RP per ₹100 elsewhere, which is the same base rate the cheaper Easy already gives. No lounge access, and it cannot be linked to UPI. Judge it on whether dining and online are genuinely your two biggest categories — that pairing is the only thing the extra ₹250 buys.

→

BOBCARD Prime Credit Card

BOBCARD Prime is a secured card issued against a fixed deposit of ₹30,000 or more, with guaranteed issuance and no income proof required. It has zero joining and zero annual fees, links to UPI on a RuPay rail, and accepts applicants from 18 to 85. The rewards are token — 2 RP per ₹100 at ₹0.20 a point is about 0.4%, and fuel earns nothing — so judge it on access and cost, not returns.

→

HPCL ENERGIE BOBCARD Credit Card

The HPCL ENERGIE BOBCARD earns 24 reward points per ₹150 (~4% at ₹0.25/point) at eligible HPCL outlets plus a 1% HPCL fuel surcharge waiver, with quarterly domestic lounge access on a ₹499 fee that waives at ₹50,000. Both fuel benefits are gated to HPCL's eligible-outlet list and capped at 1,000 points a statement, and the base rate is a weak 2 RP per ₹150 — so it earns its keep only if you are genuinely loyal to HPCL.
