SBI SimplyCLICK Credit Card

The SBI SimplyCLICK is the entry-level online shopping card done right — 10X on a set of online partner brands (BookMyShow, Apollo 24|7, Dominos, IGP, Myntra, Yatra, Netmeds and Cleartrip), 5X on all other online spend, and 1X offline, plus twice-yearly Cleartrip/Yatra vouchers worth ₹2,000 each at ₹1 lakh and ₹2 lakh of online spend that return several times the ₹499 fee (waived at ₹1 lakh of total spend). Note Amazon was dropped from the 10X partner list — it now earns the ordinary 5X online rate (a ₹500 Amazon welcome voucher remains). With SBI points around ₹0.25, the 10X works out to roughly 2.5% on partner brands. Still one of the better budget online cards; upgrade to SBI Cashback once your online spend grows.

The concern

Amazon is no longer a 10X partner (now 5X), and SBI points at ~₹0.25 keep the effective rate modest — heavy spenders will outgrow it for the SBI Cashback card.

Frequently asked questions

Did the 10X partner brands change recently?
Amazon was dropped from the 10X partner list (Jan 2023) and now earns the 5X online rate. Swiggy was briefly moved to 5X on 1 April 2025 but reinstated as a 10X partner on 1 August 2025.
What earns 10X?
Apollo 24x7, BookMyShow, Cleartrip, Dominos, IGP, Myntra, Netmeds, Swiggy, Yatra, Gyftr and Tata CLiQ earn 10X, with no monthly cap. Amazon now earns the ordinary 5X online rate, which is capped at 10,000 points a calendar month. In effective-return terms this card's best everyday earn is 0.25% on everyday spends — percentages here are the real return after converting points at their card-specific value, not the headline points-per-₹100. It reaches 2.5% at Apollo 24x7, BookMyShow, Cleartrip, Dominos, IGP, Myntra, Netmeds, Swiggy, Yatra, Gyftr, Tata CLiQ, and only there. Figures as of October 2026.
What are the milestone e-vouchers?
₹2,000 Cleartrip/Yatra voucher on hitting ₹1 lakh of annual online spend, and another ₹2,000 at ₹2 lakh — ₹4,000 total. (A ₹500 Amazon voucher is a separate welcome gift on fee payment.). The current milestone schedule: A second ₹2,000 Cleartrip or Yatra e-voucher at ₹2 lakh of annual ONLINE spend — again, online spend only. Fully hit, that is worth about ₹2,000 a year on top of regular earn. Figures as of October 2026.
What is the reward point value?
₹0.25 per point. 10X = 2.5% effective return on partner merchants.
Is there a minimum for redemption?
2,000 points minimum for redemption. Build up points over 2-3 months before redeeming.

→

SBI SimplySAVE Credit Card

The offline counterpart to the SimplyCLICK — 10X reward points on dining, movies, groceries and departmental stores, a welcome bonus worth most of the fee, and a ₹499 charge that waives at ₹1 lakh. It pays you for spending you were doing anyway. The standing SBI caveat: a modest point value (~₹0.25, portal redemption) pulls the real return to ~1.7% on the bonus categories.

→

Paytm SBI Card

A low-fee entry card for Paytm regulars: 3% on Paytm Mall/Movies/Travel, 2% on other Paytm App spends and 1% everywhere else, now paid as Reward Points worth Re. 1 each. No lounge, no fee waiver — but at Rs. 499 it's an easy first card if Paytm is your default app.

→

Apollo SBI Card

The Rs. 499 entry health card: 3X Reward Points (~3%) plus up to 10% instant discount on Apollo services, 2X on dining and entertainment, and a OneApollo Gold membership. Points redeem as Apollo Health Credits with instant POS redemption. A cheap, honest pick — but only if Apollo Pharmacy is part of your routine.

→

Landmark Rewards SBI Card SELECT

A ₹1,499 mid-tier co-brand for Landmark Group shoppers: 15 Reward Points per ₹100 (~3.75%) at Lifestyle, Home Centre, Max and Spar, plus a 6,000-point welcome (₹1,500) and 12,000 points a year (₹3,000) at ₹3 lakh of spend. The sensible middle step — cheaper than PRIME, more rewarding than the base card — if you shop those stores. Poor value if you don't.

→

Flipkart SBI Card

SBI's new Flipkart co-brand (₹500, launched August 2025) pays a headline 7.5% on Myntra and 5% on Flipkart, with 4% at four select merchants and 1% elsewhere — all as automatic cashback. It sits alongside the older Axis Flipkart card, which is still open. Excellent if you live inside the Flipkart-Myntra-Cleartrip ecosystem; ordinary if you don't.

→

PhonePe SBI Card PURPLE

The cheaper Rs. 499 sibling of the PhonePe SBI Card SELECT Black: a RuPay-on-UPI card paying 3 Reward Points per Rs. 100 on PhonePe spends, 2 on online and 1 elsewhere (1 point = Re. 1). The fee reverses at Rs. 1 lakh spend. A tidy low-fee card if PhonePe is your default payments app — but no lounge at this tier.

→

Reliance SBI Card PRIME

A ₹2,999 premium co-brand built for heavy Reliance Retail shoppers: up to 20 Reward Points per ₹100 (~5%) on AJIO and JioMart, Reliance vouchers worth up to ₹8,750 a year, lounge access and a monthly movie ticket. Genuinely rewarding if you live in the Reliance ecosystem — poor value if you don't.

→

IDFC FIRST Millennia Credit Card

A lifetime-free entry card with decent online rewards, but its real distinction is among the lowest interest-rate floors in India — from 8.5% p.a. (risk-priced up to 46.2%) versus the ~42% norm. For a first card, that safety net matters more than a slightly higher cashback rate. The June 2026 revision was mixed: points now expire after 24 months and are capped to your credit limit, but the category 10X on dining and travel now applies with no minimum spend, and since 26 October 2026 international spends earn no points. Get it for the safety margin; let a category card handle pure rewards.

→

Kotak 811

An FD-secured starter with no annual fee — back it with a fixed deposit (from ₹10,000), skip the income proof and credit-history checks, and start building a CIBIL score while the deposit keeps earning interest. Its product isn't the rewards (2 points per ₹100 online — an estimated ~0.4%, since Kotak publishes no point value for this card) — it's credit access. For a credit-invisible first-timer who can fund a small FD, it's an easy, low-risk way into the formal system. (A separate unsecured Kotak 811 with a ₹500 fee exists for those who qualify without an FD.)

Best Credit Cards for Online Shopping in India 2026

Platform-specific cards reach 7.5–10% on Myntra, Flipkart and Swiggy, while SBI Cashback pays a flat 5% across every online merchant.
